This is the Walkman I bought from Goody! For $10

THE BEST THRIFT SHOP IN TOWN Where do I even begin?! This place is literally a hole in the wall but never judge a book by its cover. Rosa is probably the sweetest lady you will ever meet. I have been to many thrift stores and most of them are hella rude but Rosa is the complete opposite of that. She is super nice and when I bought this Walkman from her she threw in free batteries and a pair of headphones! And the Walkman was only $10. If you want to support a small business or a mom and pop kind of shop then this store is the place to be!

    $25. Thank you, Rosa!

TELL NO ONE ABOUT THIS PLACE!!! Rosa is so helpful and nice. Her store is small, but every inch is utilized. Make sure you don't forget to check every corner. We found a cool night stand and a great jewelry cabinet. We were at several places today, including Goodwill in NoHo, who was charging $20 for every crappy night stand. Rosa gave us this one for $15 and the cabinet for $25. She even threw in a skirt my girlfriend was going to buy. Thank you, Rosa. You have a great shop, and I hope you are there for a long time.

Some serious gems have been unearthed here. Bundle your purchases and the owner is usually willing to deal.

Don't judge this place by its cover. I almost didn't stop bc it looked sketched but I'm soooooo glad I did! The gentleman working was kind, friendly and attentive to everything I wanted to see. Purchased 3 large furniture pieces from him and soooo happy with my purchases. Truly a hidden gem.

They sell new and pre-owned mattresses, furniture, heaters, retro clothing, etc

Their prices are quite reasonable. Many items are up to 80% off what you would pay for great clothes and bags. They also have some nice art now and again it is all fairly priced. This is not a Salvation Army type store, yes, all items are used, but all are designer or something you may have seen in a store. They do not have a huge vintage section and that is fine. It has just really nice things that I would end up paying a lot more for new. The service is great. The staff is nice and knows what is in the store and where. If you are looking for a nice bag, they have it or some nice clothes. I have bought a few things there and I have never been disappointed.

They took my phone number and said they would call when they found the match. I gave them my number and about a week later, they called and had found the match. I returned and bought it. Yesterday, we went there and bought a few things. Super cute stuff and fun to shop. My daughter found new Stan Smith Adidas. They couldn't sell them because they lost the key to unlock the block thing that the alarm goes off if cut. Again, I gave my number and today, they called and found the key. Went back and got the adidas.

Parking The biggest downside is parking. There's no parking lot, and street parking is usually full. It's a busy area with houses and businesses, so you often have to wait for someone to leave. Prices & Selection I came looking for a college shirt and was pleasantly surprised. Most of the T-shirts I saw were $2.99, which is a great price, especially for something last-minute. The shirts were in good condition and didn't look overly worn. I bought two for $2.99 each and one I really liked for $6.99, which felt high but I really liked it. Extras They had cute hand sanitizers at the front: $1.99 for one, cheaper if you buy more, and 99¢ each if you buy five definitely the best deal. Customer Service Customer service was good. There was no line when I arrived, but it suddenly got busy. Even then, another employee quickly opened the second register. The cashier was friendly, explained the sanitizer deals, answered my pricing questions, and gave me a receipt and a flyer for an upcoming sale. Overall Great prices, decent selection, and good customer service. Parking is a hassle, but I'd still come back because the deals are worth it.

I've sold there about three times now. The store is organized, easy to navigate, and the prices are decent. They never have a lot of shoes in my size though; I'm an 8/8.5 in women's, and that section is always sparse. They always have tons of 9s, 10s, 5s, and 6s... The staff is always stylish and friendly. First off this place is huge! There's so much to browse through, and most sections are fairly well organized, though a few shelves and aisles looked pretty picked over and messy, which I mostly avoided. Still, the selection here is impressive. They carry everything from furniture, purses, shoes, and clothing to appliances, books, CDs, VHS tapes, DVDs, jewelry, electronics, vinyl records, dishes, and toys. My brother-in-law and I spent some time in the toy section and we both actually ended up leaving with some teddy bears. His was only $3, and when he looked it up in the store it was worth up to $70--he was so excited about that find! Overall my personal experience was very pleasant and the customer service I received was great. Most employees seemed friendly and helpful. I did notice a slightly awkward interaction between an older female employee and another customer browsing near the VHS/DVD and jewelry counter. The employee called out "next," which made it seem like she thought the customer was ready to check out. When the customer didn't respond right away, the employee called out louder to get her attention kinda sounded annoyed. The customer looked a little caught off guard and replied that she was just browsing before continuing to look around. It was a bit of an odd moment, but when that same employee ended up checking us out, everything went smoothly and we had no issues. Overall it was a fun thrifting trip and I'd definitely come back again. Next time I want to spend more time exploring the clothing section!
