As a man, one of the worst calls you can get is a call from your wife and she is stuck somewhere with a flat tire and you can not get there. I had this happen on May 11th. I knew she was safe in a parking lot, but I still needed a solution. I called the Goodyear Auto Service location which was 4/10ths of a mile from where she was stuck. They went above and beyond. There is no other way to say it. They had a guy at her location with an air tank in 15 minutes. They inflated the tire enough for her to drive to their shop without doing damage to the rim. Within an hour they had her tire patched and she was on her way. I can't say enough to thank this business and how they conduct themselves. I would not hesitate to use them in the future, send people to them and be a reference for them. In this day in age, businesses who act like this are far and few between. read more

My father-in-laws 2019 Mazda truck was serviced on November 1, 2024 for the repair on the included invoice. The car still runs the same after the service date. The check engine light remains on. I took the vehicle to Auto zone on July 10, 2025 to run a diagnostic test. The results can back as showing that everything that Good Year said it fixed, is still showing as an issue. Trying to get back to our respective homes over Thanksgiving weekend, my son hand a blowout on a backcountry road a few miles after departing our gathering spot north of Albany. He called to let me know he was in distress but was changing his tire. As he was close and I was also headed south I went and offered moral support as he dismounted the good rear wheel to put on the front and installed the donut on the rear. It was decided I would follow him for at least the 40 miles to Albany for service. After about 10 miles of slow going with the donut its gave up the ghost. Sans any suitable replacement tire he called AAA to come tow him to Albany. Being second and third generation lifelong Goodyear customers my son called Goodyear in Albany and inquired of the availability of a replacement tire to get on down the road that Saturday. Alas, non were available at Goodyear or anywhere else in Southwest Georgia. He called back and made arrangements with Chuck at Goodyear to order a replacement road tire that would arrive Tuesday and we would leave the car while I carried him on to his house and job and Florida. It took AAA a good long time to get a truck to us in the boonies and during the wait Chuck called back to verify the tire would be there Tuesday and get an ETA on our arrival with the car. The ETA kept getting extended due to the delay involving AAA and our distance from anything. When the truck arrived my son called Chuck and explained we were underway and Chuck said he would wait for us. We arrived at his location a full hour past his closing time to met by a smiling, jovial, kind fellow. We dropped the car and headed to our Florida destinations. As the week progressed it became apparent that another road tire was needed as well as two new rims with an alignment. As we were both in our Florida homes it was becoming a logistical funhouse to acquire the needed rims and get them to Albany for Chuck and team to do their magic for us. Chuck was extremely patient with the fact that the car would be in his way until that time. No rush. No pressure. Just pleasant and helpful. To add great fortune to our tale I was able to locate two new rims AND a new donut tire in an easy and accessible drive for me, as my son couldn't get free from work and had no transport to do deliver them. I left home in the wee hours with my wife to pick up the rims and tire for Albany delivery. In a few hours we had them and headed north for Albany arriving just before noon (read lunch time for everyone). Jaye took delivery of the rims and tire and my wife took me to lunch, then back to Goodyear to wait for the car. As I waited at Goodyear Earl was headed to lunch and offered to buy me lunch. I realized that Jaye was doing the lions share the work on my son's car It became known to me that Chuck was late for a family function that night he waited for us. Chuck, Jaye and Earl were, by all meanings of the term, "spectacular gentlemen" and a credit to Goodyear. This is why we keep coming back to Goodyear for tires and service. read more

I trusted the Goodyear name when I chose to entrust my car to this establishment. I went there after hitting a pothole here in Albany. My goal was to have the car checked out for damages since my tire was destroyed by the pothole. They stated they would charge $94. At this time I had ordered the new tire but I was still riding on a donut spare. The damaged tire was on the driver side of the car. The tech put the car on the alignment lift and pretended to check the car. when he approached the care he should have realized the driver side front tire was a spare. After some time they said the car was ready so I paid for the service. The tech told me that my car was "still straight". He then continued to inform me that he could not make an alignment assessment because such assessment could not be made with the spare tire on the car. So why did he even put the car on the lift if he knew he could not perform the assessment? Additionally, why did they charge me $94 for a service which he knew could not be rendered? I understand that this is Albany Georgia and lowering expectations is an expectation within itself, but businesses should not aspire to such idiocy. I recommend this location for any service! Customer service goes a long way with me and I'm sure many others as well. My 1 year old and I went in to have a rotation and balance complete. I inquired about some other services and with no problem they were able to get the job done! Another happy customer out the door and so thankful that they took in consideration that I had a toddler with me and It couldn't have been an all day job sitting in Goodyear as it would have been going to a dealership.
