Goodyear Auto Service Center - Gretna, La. I recently purchased 5 DuraTrac tires from the above Center. I was very pleased with my experience and interaction with the staff. The manager Mr. Trinly Wells was very helpful and knowledgeable in assisting me with my purchase. Mr. Wells took the time to explain the itemized invoice such as the benefits of purchasing Road Hazard Protection for my tires. I wasn't made to feel pressured into purchasing services not really needed. Everyone I came into contact with was professional and courteous; also I found the Center immaculate. I observed Mr. Wells interaction with others customers (both on the phone, in person) and it was very obvious they were not only familiar this Center but returning customers. Since my experience was so positive, I will not hesitate to return to this Center for my automotive needs (I usually go to the dealer) and recommend this Center to friends and family. read more

I had a road trip planned so i went ahead and scheduled an appt. for an alignment and oil change to streamline the process. The shop kept my vehicle overnight causing a delay in my trip. When i picked up the vehicle i was told the alignment was never requested. The manager told me i also needed brakes and only had 2 mm left of pad life. The next week i checked myself and all pads at 60% pad life left. This shop is not trustworthy or thorough. read more

My family and I have been going to this location for almost 20 years for tires, oil changes, service lights, brakes, and more. They are usually busy so I always make sure to schedule a time to drop off my vehicle. I rather leave it there to make sure the mechanics give Lexi the Lexus, the tender loving care she needs. Giving them 2 stars to be fair as the price was reasonable for 4 tires. They only had 2 in stock on the 20th of May and promised me that on the 27th of May they would have ordered and have all 4 on hand. Went there this morning on the 27th and was told they did not have my tires. Now the manager Trinly Moore did promisedl that I could get my tires installed on this date . When I was told the tires were not there because he sold them! And wanted me to wait so he could get the tires from another location. Well I was leaving and Moore tried to get me to wait and I was not having anymore of his broken promises. The he had the nerve to call me after I left and stated "I was wrong for what I did"! My response was "I was wrong" you are the one who did not keep their word! Well I went down the street to Firestone tire and got my 4 new tires from them and a better tire for a better price! I just recently went to this Goodyear in Gretna. My experience is always welcoming. The store manager Mr. Trinly, is a super nice person. He is always making customers when I go there feel special. The store is always clean and tidy. Mr. Trinly is always concern when I have problems with one of SUV'S. There is this certain technician there name Nick. I only want to work on my vehicles. He is very attentive and always trying to make sure things are done right on my vehicles. There is a another young man name Mr. Nick (Service manager). He is also a very nice person. He is always helping where he can with the other technicians. I can't say enough about these young men but thank ya'll so much for everything. Even when they put new tires on both my SUV'S. I stopped in here for an oil change the day after the 4th of July, which was probably my first mistake. I figured there wouldn't be a big crowd and I was very wrong. Tom was the man who took care of me and he was very nice. Nothing that happened was his fault, but a lot of people "called in" because it was the day after a holiday and they were understaffed. My simple oil change and tire rotation took over two hours. Again, Tom was lovely and very apologetic and the job was down well, so in the end, the length of time was my only main complaint. I like that you can make your appointment online and they do take you car as soon as you come in. Next time, I plan on being the first appointment of the day. read more

I start coming to this shop only because the dealer had a long waiting list for repairs. Good year got me taking care of in a few days. They gave me a list of things I needed to fix my suspension system. After completing all of the services one at a time due to funding. That is when everything else went wrong. My check engine light has came on. I went back to them. They corrected the problem. No more than three weeks later my check engine light came on again I went to them, they claimed they fixed the problem. They left parts off of my vehicle. And from what the Next mechanic told me, they switch parts off my vehicle that I did not ask them to repair which caused my check engine light to come on. My Cadillac converter had been stripped which is illegal to do. No one else have had my vehicle but the dealership and good year prior to this happening. So ladies and gentlemen, if you want to dish out money to this company for a repeated service that you will need over and over again because they will cause problems for you to come back to them. please go to the shop. Nice people but they cannot manage their time. What used to be decent service times has turned into 4+ hours for an oil change. Update: car has been leaking oil for days since this visit. Brought back- it stayed overnight and guess what- it's leaking oil again. Y'all, idk what happened to this place but just stay away. read more

Couldn't be happier with my service. I took my truck to get a flat tire fixed, which ended up being free. Great turnaround and works great. When I got home I realized the lock for my spare tire was missing. I went back to see if it was there, which it was not. Manager was very nice and bought me another one with no hassle. This store charges $17 to dispose of used tires when you purchase new ones from them. The state of Louisiana only calls for a $5 fee for disposal of used tires. This is fraud painted with a veneer of greed. read more

Extremely nice, this older white guy is amazing, friendly & extremely helpful. I would come back again & I will be sending them more business. I recently sent them some customers and everyone that i sent said how much they loved there experience with a difficult time. Tire companies have a history of screwing you over. Update.... I recently dropped my car off at the close of business Thursday to get a timing belt replaced and a leak looked at. They did not find the cause of the leak, tried to get me to buy a $215 water pump, and did not have my car finished til the close of business Monday. Just a few tips I voiced via phone: 1. NEVER get your oil changed at a Goodyear! I always change my own oil but I was in a rush heading home from Oklahoma, and seeing as it takes an idiot to screw up an oil change, I assumed they could do the most basic service they offer. They over filled my oil by lord knows how much and now my coolant seal is broken and the cooling system is filled with oil. I went to a Goodyear here to have them re-change the oil and they tried to make me pay for it promising that over filling the oil does not damage the engine but failing to notice the oil filled Coolant right on top. The fact that these goodyear employees were not informed that over filling an engine with oil applies pressure to the cooling system which will then damage the seals causing coolant and oil to mix IS ABDURD. My car was ruined by idiots. read more

I didn't even want to give them 1 star. When visited this location, all I needed was a flat fixed. I sat in the waiting area with no one else - just me. There were no cars being worked on and employees with attitudes and not doing much of anything. I waited 1-1/2 hours and they still didn't pull my car in the shop. I decided after an 1-1/2 hour wait I was not waiting any longer and left. I went across the street to Firestone where I received first class service right away! I will never go to this store no will I purchase Good Year tires ever again! read more
