I have used this Goodyear off and on for years with a number of vehicles. I am writing this review to recognize two of the mechanics on site. I brought in my Ford Ranger because of a skipping feel while driving. It sounded bad. Initially the guys decided it was the plugs as they were clearly worn. They replaced the plugs but this didn't resolve the issue. The guys stayed committed to finding the problem and in the following days they researched. They reached out to other professionals. They drove the vehicle. Ultimately, it was determined that my issue was with the emissions system. The guys determined that even though my regular warranty was up with Ford, emissions systems are almost always covered later. They had me reach out to the dealer and sure enough, they were correct. While I did have needed plugs replaced on the vehicle, they charged me nothing for the two additional days that they did research and pinpointed the problem. Amazing service. The staff was very friendly and took care of me from the time I called to the time I walked out. The my outlined everything in descriptive detail so I knew what was going on. There was no pressure sales, just suggestions with explanations. They were able to do an alignment and 4 tires in half the time quoted from other tire shops. My vehicle is riding very smooth now. Liars, I needed a plug in a tire that was leaking air. I was told I needed 4 new tires. Mind you I have a new vehicle with 16,000 miles on it. I just got a new tire a year ago. Reason was because I have AWD. Even the dealer didn't try to pull that con job. Then he held my keys hostage while he wrote a novel on the computer. I reached over grabbed them and walked out. While visiting Tarpon Springs I ran over a large piece of metal that tore my tire. Due to the fact Mercedes seriously limits a replacement tire, no one in Tarpon Spring had one. I called Mercedes in Tampa and the parts man told me I HAD TO COME INTO THE STORE AND PAY FOR THE TIRE BEFORE SENDING IT - WOULD NOT DO ANYTHING TO HELP ME - OR EVEN CARED ABOUT MY PROBLEMS. I have purchase many Mercedes (own 2 now) and made decision never again! If it wasn't for the OUTSTANDING SERVICE the manager - Jimmie Taylor - went to so that I could get home that night I would have had to Uber to Tampa before Mercedes closed (not sure I could have made it) - pay for the tire, and Uber back! Stopped in today because I had a screw in my tire. I was met by a very friendly, professional staff member who was efficient in getting my information and getting my vehicle to the service bay. He let me know how long to expect the repair to take and was true to his word. The 45 minutes passed quickly and he helped to get me checked out and back on my way. Called about a leaky tire. They said they'd fix it as a complimentary service. AWESOME. Took it in, dropped it off. Super friendly guy takes it, looks it over, tells me he'll call when ready. Cool, I'm out. That was easy. Called next day..."Uuuhhh don't know anything about your tire. Let me check on it and get back with you." Ok, cool, no biggie, I'm in no rush. An hour later no call back. So I'm in the shopping center next door and decide to drop in. Manager says: "Weirdest thing Sir, we filled it up and can't find a leak anywhere. You're welcome to take it or we can leave it overnight and check it again tomorrow. Maybe some kids are playing a prank on you" I say "Ok. Please leave it and check it again. I know it's leaking." Call next day, " No leaks Sir, we over-pressurized it to 70psi, to simulate weight being on it and it's held solid. We can't find anything." I say, "Ok. Weird but I'll come get it tomorrow. What more can I do?". I go to pick it up, after 3 days of being in this shop, some young guy behind the counter loads it in my truck. After he loads it, I feel it real quick and notice it feels empty. I quickly grab my pressure gauge and it reads 10psi! You have to be kidding me. I then ask the guy, "Hey, does this feel like 70psi to you?" "No Sir, feels empty. I remember this tire though. I checked it for bubbles and couldn't find any". He then fills it up and sends me on my way. What a bunch of morons! I'm not stupid. I'm not some old man who doesn't know what's going on around me. They just lied to me because they were too busy to actually mess with my tire. Either the manager straight up lied because they forgot to task someone with this job, or their guys lied to them, which trickled down to me. Either way, they are liars and will take you for a ride and expect you to buy the crap that falls out of their mouths! There is no way they filled it, and a day later it was the same, then they put extra air in it, and the next day it was the same, then I come in and it's at 10psi. NO WAY!! I never complained, it was a free service. I was appreciative. I didn't rush anyone. I called to check and they told me these things freely. They could've easily said it's not done yet! Would've been fine for me. It's a free service!! If people complain about free services, tell them to take it somewhere and pay for it! I have taken my tire somewhere else. I don't know what's wrong with it, or how hard the leak will be to find, BUT ITS OBVIOUSLY LEAKING!! Don't lie to me and tell me you filled it and it's still holding psi! Go here at your own risk! They are not to be trusted! If they'll lie about something as silly as a free tire inspection, what will they do to Grandpa Joe who doesn't know why his check engine light is on?? It's either the management or the employees. Who knows, but if the management doesn't know...You will feel the pain! Bottom of the barrel working at this establishment! Do not go to Goodyear. I don't care how convenient it seems. They're close to my apartment with extended hours, so I thought I'd try it. DO NOT. (Thankfully, I got the price for the oil change BEFORE I had it done.) It's $70 for a synthetic oil change. I never pay more than $22 at Tires Plus and an additional $10 for an engine inspection. I have had this car for 10 years. Then I get the, "Are you sure it's synthetic?" Yes. Yes, I am sure. Then, as I spoke to the mechanic about this, I got the up & down "check out." That is inappropriate and DISGUSTING. Men, do you not understand how degrading it is to be looked at that way? The attendant did not assess anything further, did not apologize, did not say anything--he just pushed my key over to me. I'd rather deal with Tires Plus' hours and location, than be charged that. Tires Plus is always polite, even when their prices on brakes, etc. are too much, as is their labor. Good Year isn't even polite for $70! I should have asked if it came with a pack of aloe-infused baby wipes, so customers can soothe themselves after they let Goodyear give it to them good, all year. read more

Rather new to the area. Low tire pressure indicator light on in car. Put air in the tires but light would not go off. Went to Goodyear and they checked all of the tires and the spare in the trunk. Added air to the spare tire and reset the low tire pressure indicator. Very helpful, very knowledgeable, and very friendly service. We will definitely take our car back for any service that may be needed in the future. read more

I went here today because I had a drill bit stuck in my tire. The serviceman behind the counter came out and looked at my tire and said that because of where the drill bit was located and the angle it was going in my tire, I would need a new tire. He said he didn't have that brand of tires there but could get them in the store within a couple days. He then mentioned how new my tires looked and when I told him that they were pretty new, he asked if I had a road hazard warranty on my car. When I told him I wasn't sure, he told me to call the dealership and if I needed to, I could come back tomorrow for a new tire. He was so helpful and yet honest. He could have not told me any of that and sold me a tire, when in actuality I ended up not having to pay for a new one (thanks to the Road Hazard Warranty that I do have) and I probably wouldn't have ever known the difference. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone looking to have their car serviced. It's pretty rare these days that you find honest and helpful people! read more

Bad place to do business. They severely damaged one of my chrome wheels, lied about it, then admitted to doing it. Promised to write me a check for the wheel, then changed their mind and wanted to "fix it". Chrome wheels can't be fixed and I still haven't received a check for the damages. read more

I took my car in for same day service on a weekend. I called first to inquire about an alignment and to repair a tire with a screw. I was quoted a price less than expected because they offered a coupon, and said the repair was free. They were busy, but still got it done in the timeframe given - and repaired several tires at no additional cost! We dealt mostly with Danny, who was friendly and knowledgeable - and talked to females with the same consideration as males, which you don't often find in my experience. Beware of this place. They did ok work, however took a total of 9 hours to patch my tire. When checking out the service guy, Joe wanted to add my information to the system so it was readily available for future visits. He asked for my social security number, I asked why he needed it, his response was that it is just part of the system. I should have known better, but gave the number anyway. They ended up signing me up for a credit card, then filled out the rest of the application without my knowledge. i took my car in at 830am because my tire was going flat , the store is next to my work very convenient , i told him i will come back at lunch at 130 pm and get it . he then said it will be more like come back at 4pm and i might have to wait , then 3 hours later they called and said that the nail was to deep and at a angle that i will need a new tire. not in stock and will cost $189.00, funny the same tire i just had installed at another tire store for $117.00 , big difference . so i told them never mind i will pick up my car at noon , so i did get my car and put air in the tire and went home and on my way i stopped buy the tires plus that i bought the tire from 2 months ago , the took the tire off the rim and installed a patch inside the tire , i told them about the goodyear tire and what they said and like i thought i was a tactic to sell me a new tire and screw me, instead of fixing it . what a way to do bad business , very bad experience read more
