Miss Kalia is experienced, professional, and most of all warm and loving to kids. Miss Kalia cared for my twins starting when they were four months old. We found her online and did not know her previously. It was really hard to leave my tiny babies to return to work and Miss Kalia was exactly who we needed to feel comfortable with the childcare transition. She really engaged with the twins and spent time reading, playing, and taking them on walks. She helped them transition to solid food and meet their developmental milestones. Having previous experience working in daycare centers and now running her own, Miss Kalia knows and complies with state regulations and safety requirements. She can easily handle multiple children. I never had any safety or hygiene concerns - my kids always were clean and well-fed, and my daughter normally had a cute hairstyle at the end of the day too! Miss Kalia was great at communicating what had happened that day. My kids loved Miss Kalia and it was wonderful to know they were cared for by someone who treated them like her own family. Ohana is an in-home family daycare so I also think it's important to know that Miss Kalia's family is just as warm and welcoming as she is. Also, Miss Kalia is extremely reliable (I can't remember her ever taking a sick day) and loves to celebrate holidays and special events by doing activities with the kids. Ohana is a great environment and our family is so thankful to Miss Kalia for everything she has done for our kids.

Great Beginnings has been nothing but a pleasure to be apart of. Day in and day out, I know that the people in that place are filled with light and God's glory. There has NEVER been a moment where I did not trust or depend on a GB teacher to guide my children accordingly. Specifically, Ms. Mandy has prepared 2/3 of my kids for pre-k and has done nothing but a wonderful job. She has challenged them, loved on them, and prepared them to know what to expect in Kindergarten. (And I'm not sure if you know what the education system is like nowadays but it's ROUGH). Realizing that there are moments where she needed to be tough to ensure that my child would be successful was apart of my job as the PARENT. I knew for a fact that she had no ill intent. She is HIGHLY qualified for the job, as both of my boys are gifted in Math. Let me echo this again, She knows what she is doing. I have recommended countless families to GB and will continue to do so. Pleasing everyone in this world is impossible. TLE has been a blessing for my daughter & myself, she has been enrolled with TLE since beginning of November 2023. Before this she was enrolled in a care facility in California where I noticed signs of sadness, neglect, and unfortunately abuse. Since my daughter has started this facility, she wakes up excited to get her day started and go to school, she talks about her "ABCD" (the letter blocks in the front) school and she's excited to see her teachers Ms. Deanna & Ms. Tiela. I receive DAILY photos and updates of food, activities, naps & potty times of my daughter. Ms. Samantha(I hope I got her name correct) always makes it her duty to come out of her office (located as soon as you walk in to your right) and make sure everything is going well with not just the children but you as a parent. The front desk staff are all so welcoming and they make sure to remember who your kid is which makes this experience all the more better for the parent. I feel extremely safe and secure with my daughter attending this facility and I couldn't be any happier with the choice. The prices tend to fluctuate but never more than a few dollars and if you have any questions about your pricing the girls never hesitate to print you up statements of what your being charged and the best part of this all they also have an area on the TLE app where you see these exact things as well. All 4 of our kids have gone to Little Sunbeams or are currently going. We started there with our oldest at 2, back in 2019 and he went all 3 years, until kindergarten. Our kids are all 2 years apart and we started them the month they turned 2 and were able to start going. Currently, my oldest is 8 and in 3rd grade and both him and my 1st grader are already in the advanced programs at school. Kindergarten teachers were amazed with how much they knew. My daughter is 5 and finishing up her last year at LSB before moving onto kindergarten. She knows how to write her full name and is currently working on site words. My youngest is 3 and has been at LSB for a year and loves it. The best part for me as a mom, is that it is a place where I feel comfortable sending my kids. I know they will be taken care of and loved. It is just a huge plus that they learn so much, and have the opportunity to explore and be creative everyday. Little Sunbeams also has an app, so they give updates there as needed and post pictures everyday- which is also another favorite of mine. The school is affordable and also offers flexible schedules, which we have often taken advantage of. Mrs Miriam is truly an angel. She is the owner and has shaped Little Sunbeams into what it is today. I am always so surprised with how hands on she is to this day with the kids. They love her. Ms Ivis is wonderful as well. If you call or walk in, she will most likely be the person to greet you. She is so welcoming and has answers to all of the questions. She has been such a great addition to the team. Ms Veronica is one of the teachers and has had 3 of my 4 kids. She is one of their besties but knows how to keep order of a classroom so that both learning and fun can be had. Ms Sara is the Spanish and Atelier teacher and she has had all 4 of my kids! She teaches them so much and has incredible patience with them as they are learning. I really can't say enough about this school. If you are on the fence, go check it out for yourself. We are going on our 8th year here and still love it. We will be sad when we have no more preschool aged kids and have to say goodbye.

I have been apart of the KinderCare Family since March 2022. I am so grateful for the care and love that my son receives from the staff. The Team: Sara (Director) -is an awesome director! She is kind, knowledgeable, and supportive. Anytime I drop off or pick up my son, Sara greets me with a smile and warm hello. She always looks polished and professional, which sets the tone for the staff that she leads. When she is in the building, she is present and available for any of my questions or concerns. What I like the most about her is that she remembers details about the children.....That quality makes me feel like my child is important to her;even though she doesn't spend a lot of time with him. Mallory and Maria(Assistant Directors)- These ladies are great.....Being a full time flight attendant can be really hard on motherhood. When I'm away on my trips and my child isn't feeling well they always make sure to keep me in the communication loop. They also show that they care about my child. Stacey, Jasmine, Lupita, and Support Staff (Toddler Teachers)- Since my son's first day Jasmine and Stacey made me feel so comfortable. I was very apprehensive about day care life. However every morning Jasmine would smile and assure me that my son was doing well and I made the right choice. Since Lupita has joined the Toddler Class she is amazing at keeping a constant flow of communication going....with makes me feel apart of my son's day. Lastly, all of the ladies make every child's education and development their top priority. They truly meet each child's individual need. I first and foremost I've had bad experiences at other day cares since moving to Arizona from another state. I honestly must say I see progression in my son since transferring him to KinderCare underneath Sara and Maria's supervision as well as my sons teachers Shareah and Tania whom has been absolutely wonderful to me and has made me feel comfortable. My son has a few surgical issues and I have seen nothing but love and attentiveness from the entire staff and he has not been treated any different than the other children which means everything to me. Being a first time mom this is extremely important to me and being at ease throughout the day and working knowing that my son is getting the best possible care is what I need it most and so far this daycare has delivered. Children of all ages are not easy so it is going to take understanding and help from both sides all I would ever need is that the teachers to stay in communication mode at all times about everything! read more

I love this place! Kinder care has always been more than welcoming to both of our daughters, one of which is on the spectrum and they care for her more than we could ask for. With that requires special attention of which they 100% accommodate and tailor to. Both of them have excelled in both academics and social skills through various activities and skills taught by their friendly staff. Having the KinderCare APP is a plus and puts your mind at ease knowing you can keep up with their daily activities and we absolutely love their teachers which go above and beyond keeping them entertained and constantly excited about going there. I can't start by thanking all the staff at KinderCare they have made me so happy and calm after having my babygirl 4 months ago! They do so great in the infants room and in the 3's and 2's I have two girls who attend and both of them come back super happy! Ms. DeeDee and Ms. Shariya go above and beyond for my Mimi and Ms. Shariya even helped with potty training I can't thank them enough for making my day easier! Ms. Veronica and all the other infant teachers make my little baby girl so happy too and ensure me everything is ok when I call to check in! My oldest is now in school age and has been coming here for years and we now have an infant who's been in baby room. I gotta say we've had a great experience in all the classrooms and with the care from the teachers, and I've appreciated how great the management team is work with. My oldest has scored high in all his report cards and I know he is succeeding as well as he is due to his learning at this school. Also, they are now going out of their way to keep children safe during pandemic with temp checks and masks. I just want to say thank you to all the staff. read more

My daughter has been attending KinderCare Goodyear location for a little over 2 years now. I truly love the teachers and staff that work with her and have worked with her since enrolling. My daughter struggles with speech and struggled with her potty-training when she was younger. They helped her with making sure she learned to use the bathroom independently and I have seen such great gains with her communication and speech skills. My son started in the one-year-old classroom, and from early on I became concerned about the way…read morehe, and other toddlers, were being treated. The first incident I witnessed was a teacher, Ms. Jen, using her feet to push children into their chairs. I immediately brought my concerns to the front office because I do not believe that is an appropriate or acceptable way to handle toddlers. Unfortunately, I felt those concerns were dismissed. Not long after, I saw the same teacher use a spoon to stop my son from doing something. Aside from being inappropriate, it was unsanitary. I also witnessed teachers picking food up off the floor and giving it back to the children, which was extremely concerning. About a month later, I picked my son up with a busted lip that had dried blood on it, a knot on his head, and hives covering his body. No one contacted me about any of these injuries, and when I arrived, staff could not locate an incident report. After about 20 minutes of searching, they finally found it, but it was so poorly written that it was nearly impossible to read. Another issue occurred during water day. My son was placed in a different classroom and allowed to participate in water activities even though he was not scheduled to be outside for water day at all. He was allowed to play without a swimsuit, sunscreen, or water shoes, and spent time outside soaking wet in the same clothes I had dropped him off in. No one contacted me beforehand to let me know he had been moved or to ask me to bring the appropriate items. Ultimately, we chose to unenroll him early after receiving conflicting information regarding tuition and scheduling as he transitioned into the two-year-old classroom with an additional day. Let's just say, If they're teaching children the same math that they use to calculate payments, you do not want to bring to your child here! Throughout our time there, it became apparent that communication and organization were lacking. Staff members frequently provided different answers, and concerns were often met with explanations rather than meaningful resolution. As a parent, I was deeply disappointed by the overall lack of professionalism, cleanliness, accountability, and organization. I never felt confident that concerns were taken seriously, and there always seemed to be an excuse instead of a solution. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this facility. That said, I do want to recognize the teachers who made a positive impact on my son's experience. Ms. Megan, Ms. Rebecca, Ms. Morgan, and another teacher; a Black woman with glasses who was usually there midday, whose name I unfortunately cannot remember were all kind, attentive, and genuinely cared for the children. They were a bright spot in an otherwise disappointing experience.

While our early experience was positive, everything changed once he entered the toddler room. My son came home more than once with unexplained injuries. I picked him up once and discovered his mouth was bloody. I asked what happened, his teacher said, "I have no idea what happened." That answer was not only dismissive--it was alarming. He also had two separate incident reports for falling off classroom furniture--once from a table and another time from a chair. My question is this: if a teacher is truly supervising toddlers, how on earth is a child able to climb onto a table, stand long enough to fall, and get hurt--all without anyone noticing or stopping it? Toddlers are quick, yes, but that's exactly why supervision matters. Not long after, I personally witnessed a toddler teacher at Estrella KinderCare physically pushed a child down, causing him to fall and cry. The moment I saw that, I could not help but wonder if this was how my own son's injuries had occurred. It's one thing to get an "accident report." It's another to see with your own eyes how a teacher treats the children in their care. I immediately reported the incident to the director, Josie. She seemed concerned and assured me the teacher had been placed on leave pending an investigation. I wanted to believe her. But the very next day, when I arrived to pick up my son, that same teacher was in the toddler classroom--chatting and laughing with other staff. When I asked why she was there, I was told she was just picking up her own child. But here's the issue: if a teacher is supposedly on leave for pushing a toddler, why is she being allowed back into the classroom, interacting with the same kids? To me, that looked less like accountability and more like damage control. I have walked into the toddler room and seen teachers with their backs turned to the children while using their cell phones/the classroom iPads. As an educator myself, I cannot overstate how unacceptable that is. I am responsible for a classroom of children every day. I know what proper supervision looks like, and I know what negligence looks like. What I saw at KinderCare was negligence. At that point, my trust is gone. I unenrolled my son immediately. If you have a child in the toddler room at Estrella KinderCare, please be mindful of what's happening. Aggressive behavior toward children should never be tolerated, and yet here, it was brushed aside. What's worse is that the staff culture seems more interested in protecting each other than protecting the children. After pulling my son out, I decided to dig deeper. I looked up reports from the Arizona Department of Health Services regarding Estrella KinderCare. What I found shocked me--but it also, sadly, didn't surprise me. This center had already been cited for poor supervision of children by teachers and for excessive incident reports. These are the exact issues my son continued to experience almost a full year after those citations were issued. In other words, nothing had changed. The problems were documented, known, and ongoing. I'll be attaching screenshots of these reports in my review so other parents can see them as well. I gave Estrella KinderCare the benefit of the doubt too many times, and my son paid the price. Please, if you are considering sending your child here: don't. It's not worth the risk. There are caring teachers in this world, but the culture of this particular center feels broken and unsafe. For transparency, I'm leaving my original review below to show just how quickly things changed: My son has been going to Estrella KinderCare since he was 3 months old. He's now almost 2 years old and thriving! I can feel how loved he is by all the staff as soon as we step into the building. Any time I have a concern or issue, it is handled quickly. I can genuinely say that my child enjoys being dropped off every morning! Thank you to all the KinderCare teachers!

TLE has been a blessing for my daughter & myself, she has been enrolled with TLE since beginning of November 2023. Before this she was enrolled in a care facility in California where I noticed signs of sadness, neglect, and unfortunately abuse. Since my daughter has started this facility, she wakes up excited to get her day started and go to school, she talks about her "ABCD" (the letter blocks in the front) school and she's excited to see her teachers Ms. Deanna & Ms. Tiela. I receive DAILY photos and updates of food, activities, naps & potty times of my daughter. Ms. Samantha(I hope I got her name correct) always makes it her duty to come out of her office (located as soon as you walk in to your right) and make sure everything is going well with not just the children but you as a parent. The front desk staff are all so welcoming and they make sure to remember who your kid is which makes this experience all the more better for the parent. I feel extremely safe and secure with my daughter attending this facility and I couldn't be any happier with the choice. The prices tend to fluctuate but never more than a few dollars and if you have any questions about your pricing the girls never hesitate to print you up statements of what your being charged and the best part of this all they also have an area on the TLE app where you see these exact things as well. My 2.5 year old was at an in-home daycare, and we needed more structure for him. I feel as if he's learned a lot since enrolling at Sunrise and he's always excited to see his friends. I always put in a lot of work to tour a million places and ask even more questions, and it paid off with our decision to enroll our boys here. This means I have now experienced childcare in 3 different rooms at this center and at different stages of my child's development. I chose Wirtzies because when we walked the center the assistant director at the time acknowledged children with their names as we walked through. She showed that the staff there would care about my child and treat them like a little human and not just a child. My gut felt that this would be a good place. They offer an inner generational program where the children have time with the elderly adults in their day program. This also was something that was of interest to me. My gut was right. They care about my child. My child has learned so much from them that he wouldn't learn at home. I get pictures and updates from them regularly. There have been incidents where he is hurt or hurts someone else. But you would be hard pressed to find a parent who watches their own child and never gets hurts. You can't watch your child 24 hours a day and neither can they with a state ratio of 5 to 1. They have addressed each incident appropriately. They care about my child and that is worth anything I need to pay them but they are affordable. I know they also offer state subsidized care if needed. My child is happy there. He loves his friends and his teachers. He even loves the ladies at the front desk.

Update! It's been a few months now and my daughter has excelled beyond my expectations. She speaks…read moreso much now! She learned how to express her feelings by communication better. Knows how to follow directions at home. I now love watching her sing and dance by herself. She is excited to go to school in the mornings and gets sad on days she doesn't have school. Andrea and Vanessa have made my daughter feel safe and comfortable. Outstanding teachers/caregivers are very rare. Hats off to Andrea! She just knows what my daughter needs (as if she has known her longer than a few months!) Vanessa with her kind smile, is there to help my daughter feel secure that she can wear her backpack till she's ready to take it off. Seriously, the teamwork that has been developed in this class is what any parent would hope for. To all the other ladies as well, I just wanted to give a huge thank you for guiding my daughter in this class! I am forever grateful! I drive away every morning knowing my daughter is in excellent hands!
