The pricing was competitive and he really seemed to know his stuff, he was able to point out several trees that were diseased and needed to come down. We had gotten estimates from other crews but what sold us on Atlanta Tree Professionals is their track record of great reviews and the insurance protection they carry. Many others claim they have insurance but when you read the fine print, the differences come to light. You can tell Atlanta Tree Professionals care about their customers and their employees. These guys showed up on time on the day of the job. DJ called us to schedule and confirm which was super easy. The crew worked efficiently and cleaned up after themselves. Even my neighbors were impressed. I also appreciated the way these guys treated an old oak we have near the house. It had suffered some storm damage but they had it looking good in no time. Removed a gate and part of my fence to remove the heavy wood from the tree. They only cleaned up part of my back yard. When they started to put my fence back up I told them to make sure they did leave any spaces as I had a dog that was deaf. My fence was next on my list to have replaced but it was keeping my dog in until they left gaps in the side and I caught her just as she was going out. The next day when I took her out. They told me they would come back and clean my yard up. As it was it took almost a week to come pick up there boards they put down for the bobcat. They left my front yard a mess also. Never came back to clean up after many texts and phone calls. Sprung on me the time to pay that they charged extra for credit card charges. Go find another company. They don't finish the job. If you end up spending less but get really crappy service, in the end you have to ask yourself was it worth it. They showed up a day late without so much as a courtesy call to let me know they weren't going to make my appointed day/time. When they finally cut my tree down, when it fell it destroyed a floral arrangement I had. They went and replaced the wood but it wasn't until later that I saw that they didn't replace all of what was destroyed. They did a horrible job of cleaning up and left my yard in complete shambles. My sidewalk and driveway are permanently scarred and chipped. Dale tried to assure me the long marks would 'wash off' but it's permanent damage. Dale got very belligerent with me as l pointed out the damage they caused. I had to sternly tell him he needed to lower his voice and calm down. As if that wasn't bad enough they left 80ft of timber in my yard for a week and a half. After waiting the 2 or 3 days Dale said it would take I began calling them daily. He stopped answering my calls altogether. I left message after message without hearing back. Finally I got through after remembering that dialing *67 hides your number. This trick worked as Dale answered and I told him he needed to come get these logs as it was killing my grass and well past the 2 or 3 days he said it would take. He yelled back at me telling me and I quote 'there's nothing like I can do' I told him to come get the logs or I was seeking legal action for the logs amd the damage to driveway and sidewalk. He hung up in my face but an hour later a guy shows up to take the logs. I do not recommend these guys as they are unreliable and not true to their word. Yes my tree is gone but the damage they left wasn't worth the cheaper price I paid. Not at all! CAVEAT EMPTOR....BUYER BEWARE!!!
