EXPERIENCE…read more I didn't want to have to leave this review, but after the owners promised to make it right and then never made good on their promise, I can't stress enough how horrible our experience was with Moore and Smith. They were by a mile the highest quote, and we don't mind paying top dollar for good service, but this was nothing short of disappointing. The company came highly recommended, however they repeatedly dropped the ball on our rental when we needed to have trees removed. They presented a waiver to our tenants stating it was "to cover the property under insurance should anything happen". This was in fact a waiver in case the lawn and or driveway got torn up. I, as the owner of the property was NEVER presented this document, or I would have certainly requested to move the service to another day when the ground was more firm. Lo and behold, the lawn is a demolition derby, the driveway is damaged, and the tenants were picking up trash and debris for days. Not what I would expect for an $8000 service. When I called to get to the root of the problem and express my frustration, I spoke with Megan, who is equally as classless as she is condescending... not sure what swamp they dug her out of, but I've never been spoken to by a more repugnant person. Any company that would have THAT as their customer service person clearly doesn't give a shit about customer service... The owners called me back to apologize for how she spoke to me, which showed class, and promised to return to our rental, smooth out the tracks from the damage, and to reseed the lawn. He also promised to come to our property for free for a service should we need help. They never made good on either promise, and calls to the owner have been unreturned and texts left on read. Needless to say we are disappointed and will never be hiring them again.

I had just moved in and the house had been neglected so ton of debris, trash left from the pervious owners, and my moving boxes. All had to be taken along with 14 dead Cypress trees and about 5 or so trees trimmed from the home. We get to the front where he points put that one of the 5 huge trees I have is dying. They quoted me what my husband and I found to be the fairest and the next day his crew came out and did just as I wanted and more. They even cleaned my gutters. One guy came to me and wanted me to know that on 1 tree he didn't take the whole branch because their was a birds nest there. AAAWWWWWWWEEEE. thank you. They get 5 stars from me but I deserve a 1. This move has made me forger my manners and I totally forgot to buy them lunch for their very hard work. Oh and the dead tree, they removed it and about 5-7ft from.the ground up dead! We made a plan to eliminate the danger, plus do a full day of trimming and nutrient injections. He seemed to really care about our trees and we were excited to work with him, even though the scope and the quote were beyond what we had initially planned on spending. What followed was three weeks of unfulfilled promises, excuses, and constant prodding on our part to get communication. We're relatively easygoing, but he committed to doing work for us, and then wouldn't send us a contract or set a date so it was super frustrating. As another reviewer said - if you don't have time for us or don't want to work with us, just let us know that so we don't waste our time. Three weeks later, I now have to start the hunt for a vendor all over again. It shouldn't be this hard to find someone who respects a client's time, especially when that client intends to pay you almost $2,000.

In December 2017 we had some trees removed in preparation for an in ground pool. The guys worked…read morehard & removed a great deal of the trees completely- grinding them up & hauling away. It took 2 days to complete because they were having machine trouble. All went well and they purposely left stumps higher in order for pool people to be able to push over any stumps in their way. Mike had told me that after pool completion he would return and level off stumps in order to grind them. Pool completion was finally done in May 2018 and I called mike in order to arrange for the stumps to be cut. he contacted me back about 3 days later and did get here to level stumps and he brought his stump guy who gave me a great price to grind 25 stumps! some stumps where huge. When Mike and his crew arrived the second time they also took down 2 more trees for me. i recommend Thompsons tree service
