Aside from a lawn that was as bushy and over grown as the Smokey Mountain National Park, the inside of the house was almost as much of a disaster. I did what I could (pick up and lift things), but I did not know things like electrical and wall repair. After some frustration, we ended up calling Premier Maintenance & Remodeling. They were more than willing to help us patch up the drywall and replace most of the wood molding, which was prevalent through out the house. The guys at Premier did an excellent job in patching up the numerous holes and dings in the drywall. They were a bit expensive, but we rationalized that it was worth it, because they did such a diligent job at repairing the holes. As far as most of the molding was concerned, they assisted in ripping out and replacing it in the places that were challenging for us to do. Good guys and trustworthy, too.

We ended up tearing out the bushes which had grown terribly out of control and half died. He cleaned up my flower beds and laid down thick mulch in the color I chose. He was incredibly professional and helpful and flexible and he did phenomenal work. I live in Hendersonville but he said he services all of the areas surrounding Nashville. And the best part was he is reasonably priced and fit me in quickly!

It worked out that I was…read moreplanning on getting a quote for a tree removal, but when they showed up they thought it was for the removal, so they gave me a great price and went ahead and did it that day. What i wasn't happy about was that they drove and parked their trailer in my yard, which we have so carefully tried to get grass to grow in. I told them they could park in the driveway next to ours as the house wasn't occupied, which I thought they did, but when I came back out again it was in the yard. I figured that it was my fault because I didn't request them to stay off the grass so I let it go. They came back the next day to finish picking up the limbs and I requested a quote on getting some limbs cut from another tree for thinning while they were there. They promptly responded and again said they could do it that day, which was great. I asked if they would be careful with the grass because it was on a different side of the house and I didn't figure they would need to be in the grass anyway. I got home and they were working hard, but there were tire rugs all through my yard (we have a corner lot so there is no possible reason why they would need to drive where they did). Their truck was on the street at that point so the damage was already done and there was nothing I could say. Apparently, they ran over 3 street signs while they were there too (my neighbor was present when it happened). Long story short, they got my taken care of very promptly, the price was reasonable, and they were polite, but I would set expectations at the beginning of what you want regarding boundaries of your yard.

In any relationship, sometimes conflicts arise. I always found Darren and his team to be quite reasonable and willing to resolve all concerns quickly and professionally. Our home was beautifully landscaped by Daren, as envisioned by and in cooperation with another prominent Nashville architect. Rational human beings that share a clear vision for the project should have no difficulties in working with Darren and his team to achieve project goals.
