Around our house we really try to live with nature. I mean it, bees, wasps, snakes, birds,…read morerabbits... everyone is welcome at our place. Even skunks. Well, even skunks UNLESS they get a bunch of assitude and spray my big, 100 lb + dog in the face, when he wasn't even bothering them. That's right! Some black and white striped assh*** , took advantage of our wildlife friendly policy and sprayed the giant white dog. Now keep in mind that it takes 3 hours to bathe said giant white dog, and was 11PM at night, right when I was about to go to bed. As you can imagine, that skunk had got to GO! So we called Daniel, and he helped us out. For a very reasonable price, Daniel came right over and set a bunch of live-traps around the property. We caught our skunk on the first night with the help of Daniels secret bait (attracts skunks, not cats, or rabbits). Daniel kept the traps at our property for 7 days (checking them daily) just in case there was more than one skunk ,and sure enough, we got two more (its the North Valley, there are probably more skunks than people living here) later in the week. We are very happy with Daniel's professional, friendly service and reasonable prices. We really hope we don't need to call him back. Relocating wildlife is hard on the wildlife, and in my opinion, it should be a last resort, but if we get another skunk dead set on being a jerk, we'll definitely call Daniel again!

He spread some male raccoon urine around my roof and momma was gone with all but one of the babies the next morning. I called to ask about the abandoned baby and Tyler came back out and removed it the next day. He told me that he would be taken to a wildlife rescue facility. Job well done and fairly priced.

I called Critter Control in Albuquerque to have a raccoon removed from my chimney in Santa Fe…read more First the good points: the person who came out for the free initial evaluation, Jared, was prompt, courteous, and professional. He advised me that it usually takes several days to coax out a raccoon by putting a repellant consisting of predator urine down the chimney and repeating this each day until the animal is gone. So I signed the required contract for up to two weeks of daily service for a total charge of $486.88, including sales tax. The next morning a second worker came out, who was also courteous and professional. He inspected the chimney and determined that the raccoon was already gone. That of course was good news -- both for me and for the company, which would not have to come back for what could have been multiple sessions. Under the circumstances, I thought that Critter Control might agree as a courtesy to give me a partial discount. To be fair I approved the charges in advance and the company was under no obligation to make an adjustment. But I thought that in the interest of customer relations and repeat business, they might be flexible. I called the office and was disappointed that they wouldn't consider my request. They offered to have the manager, Amanda, call me but that never happened. Otherwise this might have been a three-star rather than two-star review. Knowing what I know now, next time I will try one of the locally owned and operated companies here in Santa Fe. The person who came for the initial evaluation was a salesman, presumably working on commission. And judging from his caller ID, the second person sent by Critter Control was a subcontractor from a different Santa Fe pest control firm. I'm not sure that there was any value added by the Critter Control franchise brand.

Frankly it was a rip off... had another person come do the same...he ended up sealing areas that were not touched and set traps close to the house.....for less than $500! We were ripped off for sure! If you got $ to blow....go with this company!
