In June of 2025 we started a new journey to purchase a new AC for our home. The previous unit was a Goodman purchased in 2011 and it performed very well. The compressor stopped working and I contacted Gordon for a quote for a new system. All the service technicians were in a meeting and Rachael said they would return my call shortly. I called back and had the pleasure of speaking to Rachael again and said we want a new AC today. Please send someone now. In 30 minutes or less we had a knock at our door from Gordon Air Conditioning. This was one of the most professional companies that I have worked with in over 13 years of living in Crestview. They helped take the screens off of our new windows and install a temporary window AC unit so we could sleep in our bedroom that night. We secured the financing and even got a energy rebate on the unit we purchased along with a military discount. They appreciate and recognize all the military families in our great town. We included a three-year service maintenance program and I am so glad we did. One July19th 2026 when we came home the AC had stopped working. The house was cool and the electronic thermostat was dark, so I knew it was time to call Gordons. I left a message on the answering machine asking for the first available on Monday July 20th. I got the call from Rachael on Sunday evening asking if we were ok and she confirmed that Gordons would arrive between 11am to 2 pm to fix our AC. It was wonderful to get that call at 8:30 on a Sunday night. I appreciate getting a text message with a picture of the technician who is coming to our home along with a phone number and confirming the arrival time. Gordon CARES about the safety of their customers by taking the extra steps and using technology to add extra security. It was a simple clog in the drainpipe that occurred and that is why the new AC stopped working. If it had not shut down the water pan would have overflow and leaked water into the house. The technician got a shop vacuum and fixed the issue right away and the system was up in running in 20 minutes. I am so glad we made the decision to purchase the three-year service agreement because it protects us the customer and in turn we build a long-term business relationship. I called to schedule a service call due to my ac not working, they were out here within hours to fix my ac problems. They charged us 400 dollars (on top of the fee to have them come out) for a breaker. They never took apart the unit and told us that the parts they thought would fix it would be 1700 dollars. They couldn't even guarantee that it would fix the issue. Our unit itself is 2500 dollars new (or thereabouts) and is only about 2 years old if we had gone with them we basically could have bought a new unit. The only nice thing I can say is that the people are very friendly and they will try to come out the same day you call if they can. Honestly I was really appreciative of them because of that fact until we tried a competitor for a second opinion. My S/O told our new tech what the Gordon techs had told us and what we had paid and the new tech LAUGHED because it made no sense and we had basically been had for fools. read more

couldn't be happier with the professional and friendly service we recieved from this company and the employees. We got three quotes from different hvac co and we ended up going with Gordon. Matthew came over and gave us quotes on a new system with different options to for our budget. He was very knowledgeavle about the products and hvac in general. He actually came over a second time to go over information and answer questions again with my son who is the homeowner. I would say his professionalism and knowledge really made the process very smooth. The workers/craftsmen that came out to do the work were professional, skilled and pleasant. The estimator that came out to evaluate the job was obnoxious, stupid, insulting and unprofessional. He tried to sell me a unit well beyond my needs. The worst this idiot did was fail to measure the opening of my inside unit. When the craftsmen came to install the air handler they found the unit the estimator planned for the job was Significantly Larger than the opening. This turned a two hour job into a major 6 hour project. Litch is the first name of the Moran that came out and failed to measure the space of my AC unit before ordering it and assigning a crew to install. This imbecile caused major problems for both my wife and the installation crew. How stupid do you have to be so as not to measure a space before ordering a piece of equipment to fill the space. GORDON good, Installation crew good. Estimator, general manager is a total dumb shit. read more

I can not put into words how amazing this company is . My husband had surgery Tuesday and that night our AC went out . We called Gordon because they had been amazing for us before . Not only did they come out the same day we called they also brought portable AC units with them for us to use till the part we needed came in . I will forever be a customer. read more

Steer clear of these guys! The technicians are inexperienced and have no idea what they're doing. My a/c was making a horrible noise and I was unable to run it. Called Gordon's and the technician came out. He diagnosed the problem as bad bearings in the fan motor and replaced it, charging me $683. This did not fix the problem. Called them again. Same Technician came back out. Did a refrigerant leak test for $300. Surprise! I have leaks. Then diagnosed the compressor as going bad and said the evaporator coil needed to be replaced. The next day, they called with an estimate. It would cost $1,513 to replace the compressor and evaporator coil (and that is with the warranty). Oh, and the parts wouldn't be here for a week. My son even overheard the technician telling someone on the phone, "I don't know what to do." He was a nice person, just doing his job, but he had no idea what he was doing and that is ridiculous! Apparently, they just go through changing out parts until they find the right one. Meanwhile, I am out $1000 because the technician didn't know what he was doing. Turns out, the problem was easily fixed for $150 and there was no refrigerant leak. I will never call Gordon's again and I will tell everyone I know to stay away from them! read more

Due to the recent temperature drop in the local area, I had to turn my heat on. It worked somewhat for a few days then started blowing cold air. I set up an appointment with Gordon air. First and foremost, Sally, the lady that helped me when I first contacted Gordon was very friendly and professional on the phone. She stated they were busy and would contact me back in a few minutes. She did just that. Not only did she call me back, she was able to work me into their busy schedule. She called me back when the tech was on the way. Once the tech was there, I explained my problem and he knew right away a solution. It was an error that I had created with the system and the tech explained what I had done wrong and how to avoid the issue again. The tech was very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly as well. I will use this company again and I highly recommend them. read more
