Kaleb with Tualatin Valley Painting and Construction was the first to responded to the project request within 7 minutes of me submitting it! He was able to schedule a meeting for the next day to meet on site and discuss the project scope. He provided his estimates in a timely manner and offered competitive pricing, although his schedule was full until August/September. While I do consider that a positive aspect that his business is heavily booked, I am waiting to move into my house until after the painting is completely so I needed a vendor who could start my projects fairly quickly. Although I selected another vendor for this project, I would absolutely reach out to Kaleb again in the future.

Their bid was far and away the best price of all the quotes we received for the same product, and they offered a nice discount for payment in cash. Their employees were hard-working, respectful, and fun - we enjoyed interacting with each of them while they were doing their work, from the design consultant to the installers, and the new windows look wonderful. We have a front door that needs replacement soon, and I definitely know who I will call when we're ready for that project!

We just purchased it a year ago. They say they are going to pay for the repair but waiting for confirmation of that. They want too much of the money up front which seems to make them lose interest. 90% before the job is done. This star value could change if things look up. Update: Job was finished and work was done well. Continue with having the company credit us on the final bill for the air conditioner repair we already paid for. We have the pictures of their worker standing on the unit and the dent it cause. The salesman that does the estimates are very professional and make you feel like the company knows what they're doing. But not an actual representation of the workers and billing department. I will change the rating to a 3 because the work was good.

There were some highs and lows in my experience with KVN, but with several months behind me to give…read moreme perspective, I believe I can write a review that will be helpful and fair. First are the things I did wrong: 1. I didn't get any other bids so I spent the entire project wondering if I was paying too much. 2. I didn't understand KVN is a contractor only - the trucks that come out to do the work are going to have different company names on them. That information is clearly stated in the contract but, related to #1, I didn't read the contract closely and missed it. So I spent most of the project wondering how much more I was paying to have someone act as a go-between with these other companies. 3. Because of #1 and #2, throughout the weeks it took to remove old siding, put up new siding, put up the gutters, and paint the house I was always on edge and quick to anger when something went wrong. Notable missteps by KVN: 1. There was some miscommunication about a small part of the house that they considered porch and I considered house. When we realized this, first day, I could see their position and asked how much it would cost to add that part. I had three different people tell me they'd get back to me with a cost - they never did. 2. Whoever they used for gutters had to take them down and install new ones twice - it was the third install that finally worked. KVN didn't catch the first errors (but maybe they would have if we hadn't checked first) but they did tell them to redo the 2nd install before we were even told it was done. 3. The painter painted the windows shut. We didn't know that until after everything was signed and paid, so we just fixed it ourselves. But the contractor is responsible for the work of the subs - so I'll call this their mistake. What KVN did right was they seemed to genuinely want me to be a happy customer. I didn't realize how much that mattered until a neighbor was having some work done and I saw first-hand the difference between having a contractor who is hoping to leave the customer happy (KVN) vs. one who just wants to get paid (the neighbor's). Made me think I was ready to write a review, I hope it was fair.

I had an issue with siding on my property (small leak around a window which was finding its way…read moreinto the patio roof). Ted fixed it promptly, for a very reasonable price, and without trying to upsell. Several other companies were strongly pitching massive scopes of work (for example, full replacement of siding on one side of the house). The job was made more complicated by the solar panels installed on the patio roof, and Ted and his team were able to efficiently and safely work around them (protect the panels with foam and avoid having to remove the panels and re-install, resulting in significant savings for me). This was a very positive experience, I found Ted to be highly professional and a great communicator. If I need roofing or siding repair or replacement needs in the future I will certainly reach out to Peak Exterior! Highly recommended.

Not a single neighbor or contractor who's come to my house to see the damage can believe how incompetent the work was. We had to get 2 roofs done by this company within months of each other because the first roof they installed had literal holes cut out beneath the TPO material. We had leaks for months as they continued to lie to us. After the owner Eran (goes by Tommy) calling me and telling me to take him to court, saying that I hired people to cut out the holes myself... he changed his tune once he found out I had video evidence of that being a lie and he saw with his own eyes how bad the work was. Then once they ripped off that roof and redid it now for a second time, they managed to damage the entire INTERIOR of my house by screwing holes all throughout my wood paneled ceiling across the whole house. The entire thing needs to be ripped off a 3rd time and the entirety of the wood paneling replaced They clogged our exterior drains with roofing material leading to flooding when it rained and emergency drain line plumbing. They covered over our bathroom vents and burnt out the motors and we had to replace that ourselves + do the installation. The list goes on and on. I'm reporting them to the CCB and have hired lawyers

A few hiccups along the way (blasting music at 3am from their truck parked in my driveway, I stepped on on of their roofing nails (ouch!), and this oddity in the upper rain gutter where it unnecessarily slants making it look horrible. I realize gutters need to slope to drain water, but this one is extreme and looks stupid). Would I recommend these guys? Maybe. Update: Clear Vision finally sent a crew out to fix the small section of rain gutter with the unusual slant. So kudos to them for following up albeit weeks later. (BTW, I also asked for a bid to paint my house : they provided a dollar quote but didn't send anyone to talk to me about what I needs or what service they would provide.
