I have been three days trying to get simply replacement keys for my home. After visiting 2 Home Depots & 2 Lowes, 14 keys were made in total on the "new automatic" key machines - and none of the worked. Finally, this store got me the keys fast and cheaper. They worked perfectly. Great and competent service. BTW Lowes does NOT give you a refund but instead ask you to contact the machine vendor. read more

Monday morning. Date does not matter. I wake up like a walking zombie; no coffee, no breakfast. I'm on auto-pilot. I go to my garage, throw my bag in the trunk and - well, dumb move on my part, I throw the keys in the trunk and slam it shut. I won't go into detail as to why my car does this - but it's perfectly legitimate - and I realize *crud* I've locked my keys in my car. I don't have a spare in my house. My spare was in my car. Won't go into detail there either, bonehead move, I admit it. I called Gordon Safe and Lock because they were close to my house. The quote me a reasonable price (about $65) to get me unlocked. While I'm waiting I'm talking to my apartment manager and she tells me her horror story how her window was scratched up when she called a lock smith to get her car unlocked. I think, great. the price is $ but the damage to my window will be $$$$. Mr. Gordon himself arrives. The owner, came out. Yes, the owner! He used a little pillow to make a space between my door and with a long wire hit the electronic "unlock" button inside my car. No scratches. No horrors. Simple enough and totally worth the money. He even accepted my credit card on the spot. He called it in and within 5 minutes I was on my way to work. I'm a satisfied customer. My fault all around but I don't have a damaged window or anything to remind me of my bonehead move on that Monday morning. Just closed on a house nearby and needed to get the locks changed ASAP. Looked these guys up and headed over to the store. We set up a time later in the week for someone to come by and change the locks and we were all set. A few hours before our scheduled appointment I received a phone call saying that there was an emergency and they weren't able to send someone at the time we agreed on. Disappointed but not upset because I understand things happen. I asked when would be the next available? That day wasn't going to work but she was helpful to recommend surrounding businesses since I was in a pinch. So on I go to make other arrangements and I get a phone call back saying that someone was available at our original time. I was so relieved. We had a broken deadbolt and the came right out and fixed it, plus replacing others. Did a great job and I was surprised the cost was very reasonable. The technician was nice, knowledgeable and respectful. We've used them before when our home safe broke, it was a problem with the brand of safe, but they came out several times to fix at no charge. Great experience! My wife and I bought a home and called Gordon safe and lock. They came out quickly and rekeyed all of our locks within 30 minutes. We accidentally overpaid taxes by $23, And we did not notice. We received a phone call from Gordon safe and lock the next day mentioning the overpayment. The person we spoke to was very nice, got our mailing information and mailed a check for the amount that was overpaid same day. Hired them to change the locks on my new home and they did a great job. Rodney arrived on time, was friendly and knowledgable, and did a good job. The only reasons that they didn't get the 5th star was the trip fee was a little high considering I had the entire knobs and locks replaced on 3 doors and scheduling could have been a little easier (they could have done a better job following up).
