I politely asked if I could see the necklaces that were on display behind the counter. Instead of showing them to me, she repeatedly pointed to a printed sheet with pictures. I explained that I wanted to see the actual necklaces on display and that I understood there might be a price difference. I even told her I was willing to pay the difference if necessary, but she still refused to let me view them. As a customer, I felt dismissed and unwelcome. The interaction left me feeling as though I was being judged, and I couldn't help but feel that I was treated differently than I should have been. Whether intentional or not, that's how the experience came across to me. I hope management takes customer service more seriously because every customer deserves to be treated with respect and given the opportunity to make an informed purchase.

I bought a Louisiana-themed tea towel, and an associate offered to hold it at the register until checkout. Unfortunately, I didn't get her name, but she was so incredibly helpful. The reason I'm removing a star is because when we first entered the store, despite being greeted, we were heavily watched and followed while we browsed Tyler Candle and Mackenzie Childs products. I own several items from both companies, yet when we got in the car, my mom remarked how uncomfortable it made her feel. I absolutely agree. I realize they've probably had theft issues, especially with the close proximity to the freeway, and I know Mackenzie Childs products are a pretty penny (as well as fragile), but glaring at customers and staying within a few feet of them the entire time they're browsing products is a bit overboard.
