I went in to get my engagement ring resized and mentioned I was pregnant. Instead of taking the sale, the jeweler recommended that I wait and offered me a temporary spacer instead. I have been going to this shop for 20+ years. Always great service. I went in today for simple watch band swap. I brought my Omega Speedster in to change out to a Forstner band. Google any picture of astronauts wearing the Speedmaster and 9 out of 10 have this band. Two people that obviously didn't know what they were doing tried to put it on. They finally called the owner back who bragged about training them. They handed me the watch back and said it wouldn't work. Really, I went to the Jewelers Bench in Kingwood and they swapped it out in 2 minutes. A store built on customer service has become a store trying to sell Rolex watches. I will never bring anything to this store again. read more

DO NOT USE DIXON JEWELERS OR THEIR OTHER LOCATIONS. Huge scammers and over price everything. My husband and I bought a custom solitaire wedding set from them last year. 9 months later my center round cut diamond cracked, I called to let them know that we moved out of town and if I could bring it in to get replaced when we came back to the area next and the girl at the front said yes. (She could even recall our phone call conversation when I was able to bring it in 3 months later). They told me when we bought it that they do a 1 year warranty and even though they offered that, it was only under their conditions and if they are the ones who crack it. I came into their store 27 days after the 1 year mark. So instead of them caring about customer service and quality, they told me the only option is to purchase another diamond from them. So fast forward, I submitted a claim through my insurance company and decided to give Dixons another chance. BAD IDEA. Mitch told me that he couldn't touch the ring setting and new diamond unless I signed the paper from my insurance company that stated "I am happy with the quality of the work and I give permission to cut the check for the amount." However, They put a diamond in priced it $1700 more than what it is worth, charged to set the diamond the setting we purchased from them, and charged another fee. I questioned the diamond and it's quality and I was told by the girl who certifies Dixon's diamonds to compare prices which I am glad I did. So I asked them to price match or take out the diamond. Mitch told me no to price matching and that I can take mine and my families business somewhere else. He would reverse everything he did which included taking out the diamond and stone and charge for labor. So he double charged me and didn't put the original center diamond back in the setting but you bet I had to pay for it. He said I brought it in a bag so he gave it back to me in a bag. I did not bring it in bag, I pulled it right off my finger and he put it on the counter. He said "well I don't remember." But I had to pay $324 for basically no work to be done. SCAMMERS. Mitch made an excuse every time I asked for the district managers number or the owners number. Do yourself a favor and stay FAR AWAY from this company. Go to a jeweler that deserves your business because Dixon does not. If I could give 0 stars, I would. read more

Dixon used to be a staple of mine. In recent years the store has changed drastically. The days of going into this store and finding beautiful jewelry are over. I went into the store on 12/26 and ask if they would place a solitaire in an existing band and the young woman gave me every reason in the world why they couldn't. I took the same setting and solitaire to the jewelers bench in Kingwood and picked it up finished later that afternoon. I used to take everything to Dixon but the last few trips have ended with me hearing excuses about why they couldn't do something. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE get a second opinion on any jewelry purchased here. My husband upgraded my ring for our 10th wedding anniversary and we bought a large diamond here and had them design a setting. Several years later we had the diamond appraised by 3 different independent sources for insurance and it was worth less than a quarter of what they sold it to us for. The diamond was not properly cut and it had a lot of fluorescence. Also, the workmanship on the setting was lacking at best. We got swindled. read more

Many years my husband at the time used Dixon Jewelers (because they had a great reputation). We owned a business that required ongoing jewelry cleaning and repair. April - 2012 I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. My husband at the time had George do a rush order to present to me same day as requested a beautiful 3K Ring. George completed the job and I received it same day. My husband threw me a birthday party with my close friends and let everyone know of the ring he gave me. May - 2013 I am filing for Divorce for (Safety Reasons, etc)., Meanwhile my soon to be ex-husband requests I return the (Stolen Property) to him. George went to Court for me to prove my situation. George went in short above and beyond the normal for me. He just did the right thing. I really do not know too many people who do that anymore. It really was an amazing act of Integrity and kindness. I will never forgot him and the sacrifice he made just to do the right thing. Of, course he lost business doing the right thing. We got the Rolex looked at by an authorized Rolex dealer and the band is a good fake. We were not told this by Dixon Jewelers. In fact, we asked if the band was Rolex and they confirmed that it is a genuine Rolex band. This was important to us. We would not have paid as much as we did if we knew it was not genuine. We like the watch but we feel tricked. Do not trust them unless they will put everything they "say" into writing. Words are cheap. But Jewlery is not. Save yourself the discouragement of finding out you were deceived by a jewelry store that should be trusted and that was trusted, by us, in prior years. read more

I visited Dixon jewelers this afternoon with 3 watches for battery replacements , and 8 Platninum and 14 kt. to 18kt. gold gemstone and diamond rings to have sized. Two of these rings were custom made by the previous owner Mr. Dixon Chen for me several years ago. One of the rings was a three carat solitare diamond ,the other was 3.62 carat top gem tanzanite solitaire. Each of the 8 rings was a different price to size depending on whether the shaft was platinum, 14kt. -18kt. White or yellow gold. After waiting for the poor sales girl to give me a work order, I asked how much longer it was going to take (as my husband was waiting in the car). He finally came in to the store to find out if I was O.K. Then the male sales clerk told the sales girl to give me my jewelry back and to leave his store. No problem and that I would be happy to write a very poor review on the store site. Dixon's was always my go to jeweler but since it changed "hands" I don't think I can trust them to do any repairs ever again!!! However, I did get two free batteries in my watches while all the waiting! The repairs they lost out were approx. $500 + !! read more

Dixon helped me create a custom jeweled wedding band design that I had concocted in my head. When I picked it up it was more beautiful than I could have imagined. My husband to be, who was with me when Dixon and I were working on the design, is equally impressed, and loves to show it off to people. Dixon was so patient with me, and appeared to every bit as in engaged in the process as I was. So sweet! Everyone there was so polite and friendly throughout the process. I went into Dixon Jewelers this morning to take 3 rings to be sized for my mother who is sick. I met Evan as I walked into the door and he asked me what he could do for me. I told him what I needed and he immediately checked the rings for their authenticity with the diamonds, the prongs and the overall integrity of the rings. He was personable, professional and took care of all that I needed with a smile. I was quoted approximately one week to pick up the rings. I received a call later today that the rings were ready. I will come back to Dixon Jewelers for all of my needs. I love to be treated like I matter when I enter a jewelry store with a need. read more

I am SO pleased with this place! My birthstone ring looks better than ever and brand new! My parents bought it for me 9 years ago for my birthday and I was so sad when 2 diamonds recently fell out due to broken prongs. Luckily I found one and my mom had one that thankfully fit. They only charged me $50 to reset the diamonds, fix the prongs, and make it look new! They buffed and shined it so well that all of the wear and tear is gone. It literally looks like my parents bought me a new ring. I dropped it off on and Sunday and it was ready Tuesday. (It would've been ready Monday, but I wasn't able to call and give them the go ahead to fix it until Monday.) I am very pleased. They are also very friendly. :) read more
