It doesn't negate the interaction I had with my sales associate and the jeweler but I do respect that she followed up and while I cannot say that I will be a returning customer at this point, I would take it into consideration. Full honestly, I think I would consider making a purchase there again but would likely not turn to them for any alterations or repairs in the future.

At the top of the stairs, a woman who I believe is named Brittany Y. began following closely behind them on the staircase, which felt unnecessary and made an already difficult situation more stressful. Once downstairs, I handed a cash tip directly to the gentleman. At that point, Brittany took the money from his hand and immediately asked me if I had more to give. When I said "excuse me," she responded, "Not trying to be tacky, but can you give him more money?" I declined. Instead of leaving it there, she remained outside harassing me while my husband and I secured the mirror and continued to ask us for more money. During this time, she told me that "this is her business, and the employee only makes $15 an hour and she doesn't have insurance for them to move things". This was uncomfortable and inappropriate. Discussing an employee's wages and internal policies with a customer-- and especially asking for more money--is highly unprofessional. I did apologize just to end the interaction, but the situation should never have escalated this way. I was willing to tip for help, but being pressured repeatedly and having the money taken from the employee was unacceptable. While I appreciate the help from the gentleman, this experience left a very negative impression. If employees are not supposed to assist with moving items, Brittany could have said something before they started down the stairs.

Shortly after viewing my social media, I received a message from Donae Chramosta, stating the decision was based on "overall brand alignment and fit for our team culture and direction." Given the timing and circumstances, it is clear that this decision was not based on my background or abilities but rather on personal judgment related to my appearance Definitely think they are super judging superficial and racist. This behavior constitutes discrimination and bias, as hiring decisions should be made based on qualifications and experience -- not someone's looks or past modeling photos. I take great pride in my professional record, and I find it disappointing that a company representing luxury and inclusivity would instead base its decisions on appearance rather than capability. While I respect their right to choose a candidate, I would not want to work for an organization that displays discriminatory behavior or fails to appreciate true professional experience and integrity. We made it clear from the start what we wanted (a simple gold ring with an olive green sapphire for her and a matching ring and inlaid stone for me) and our budget range. Marco consistently responded with the wrong material, suggestions outside our price range, or some other frustration. At the bottom is a link to our text history, first from my partner's number and then mine (the experience was making her stressed and she wanted me to take over). I've annotated it for easy consumption to show how we were constantly fighting an uphill battle trying to get him to listen to our needs/wants only to be ignored. We tried to remain pleasant and understanding throughout but it became harder and harder as it became obvious he wasn't interested in listening to us. So we decided to not pursue our rings with him further. We found it hard to trust something so special and important to someone who can't follow simple requirements. Or someone who kept giving us options outside of our price range, and who now wants us to trust their judgement and not give any further estimates (even if we brought in our own stones). Or someone who simply seemed disinterested in what we had to say. I confronted him with our texts, explained how we felt, and asked for at least a part of our $500 deposit back. He refused, and when I started to go over our texts to show why we felt justified in asking for our money back, he said the texts "make him look stupid". Well here are the texts for everyone to see his own words, you can make the call yourself. Other gems from our last meeting include him claiming his time is worth $450/hour (to explain keeping the whole deposit) and a "funny" anecdote where he initially estimated $2,500 to repair a ring and ended up charging $12,000 (to justify why he can't give estimates). I have our meeting recorded (single party consent state) if anyone is interested. As a small business owner myself, dealing with shifting and unknown requirements, I understand it's hard to give a price only for something unexpected to pop up, but what I don't understand is how you can treat a customer with such inattention and disregard and still feel justified in keeping any amount of money. I would be filled with shame if I treated a customer this way and then refused to empathize with their experience. Marco strikes me as someone who is excellent to work with if your visions and budget align, but he is disinterested in what you have to say or think if they don't and isn't capable of seeing things from any point of view but his own.
