Have been going for several years for something specific and have started using them for yearly…read morecheck ups etc. I typically see Kia Brown, NP as she has more availability and I usually call shorter notice, and she is amazing. Literally will answer any question and even scheduled a telehealth as a follow up when I changed medications. Highly highly recommend the entire office, Dr. Sher is the best too, he is just harder to schedule due to all the specialties. Hardly a wait anymore and I'm usually in and out within 30-40 min. Many thanks to the entire group.

Dr. Saad had great reviews and many years of experience and when we saw how well she was able to work with our child who had an ear infection we knew we would be seeing her for the foreseeable future. The office is very clean and they even have different entrances for sick patients vs. Not. The staff is super friendly and our son quickly made friends with everyone there! There is plenty of parking, but the only problem is that it can take about 15-20 minutes to get to the correct third floor entrance from the parking lot on a quiet day. We would recommend arriving to the parking structure at least 30 minutes just to be on the safe side. Overall we were very satisfied with the care and service of PVMG!

Located just on the outskirts of the Promenade on the Peninsula Mall, the UCLA Health Palos Verdes…read morePrimary and Specialty Care shares the same large multi-level outdoor parking garage as the mall. An easy way is to use the top floor (P4) parking area, and then take the elevator down to the required floor. Mom needed to some imaging done for bone density, so went for an early morning appointment. Because the mall wasn't fully open, finding close parking was easy. Check-in needs to be done at the floor of the procedure, so after some up and down, found the place. The appointment started right on time, and was completed quickly...not much of a wait.

This practice has big pros and cons in my opinion. Pros:…read moreeasily accessible from rooftop parking of promenade mall, high quality physicians, very clean facilities and easy to schedule appointments via phone or app. Cons: the practice is impersonal and has the feel of a large UCLA location rather than a local, Palos Verdes medical practice, staff turnover seems high as I don't see many of the same faces frequently, impersonal staff interactions, difficult to reach staff for follow up action items, their electronic health record (EPIC) is not always viewable by the primary local hospital system of Torrance Memorial (who uses Cerner). This can be challenging if you're receiving care from both hospital systems. Overall- if you're comfortable with all these aspects of care, the caliber of medical care rendered here is very good.

What a refreshingly great healthcare experience!! I had an appointment with NP Leslie for prenatal…read morecare and wow, she's amazing! She took her time, listened, answered all my questions, and just in general had a warm and kind air about her. The front desk people were also fantastic, especially Blanca! She offered to print my records for me so I'd have them for an upcoming move and told me what to expect my new OB's office to ask me for. If you need OB care, this is a great place to get it. It's also a very convenient location--you're near a few grocery stores, package stores, etc.

Front Desk Needs Improvement. This was my second visit for the OB/Gyn and both times the front desk…read moreexperience was unprofessional. I arrived 45 minutes early but wasn't given my paperwork until right before my appointment -- four pages, front and back -- leaving me rushed and stressed. When I couldn't check in using the QR code or kiosk, I told the front desk. Instead of signing me in, the staff member started checking her phone to troubleshoot Wi-Fi issues while I stood there waiting. Only after I asked again did she check me in so I could sit down. The back staff and doctor treatment is warm and welcoming which makes me feel great. However, during my most recent visit, I wasn't asked to show any ID or proof of insurance--only to state my name and (maybe) my date of birth. What really concerned me was during my Pap smear, neither the doctor nor the assistant asked me to verify the specimen label to ensure it matched my name and date of birth before it was sent to the lab. That's a serious patient-safety issue and a basic part of HIPAA and clinical quality standards. I liked my doctor's manner and the care for me, but these lapses in verification and labeling protocols make me question the office's overall attention to safety. I hope management takes patient satisfaction surveys seriously and implements stronger procedures to protect patient identity and results accuracy along with addressing front desk courtesy and organization so the patient experience matches the quality of care I receive at my other health care appointments. It should be noted that my regular OB/Gyn worked in the El Segundo office previously and my overall experience there was calm, satisfactory, organized, safe, consistent, empowered, cheerful.

This was such a jarring and rude experience, I have never had someone treat me this poorly from a doctor's office. It was shocking. I don't even have an ailment, I'm simply shopping around to find a new doctor. I guess some of her patients have to die before this doctor would consider allowing anyone to book an appointment. Wow. Just go somewhere else for care like I'm going to, don't bother calling.

She ordered a blood test and when I went in to get the results, she told me very coldly that I had a brain tumor. She said she would get me set up with a MRI, but that I DEFINITELY had one. She left the room quickly and I had to chase her down to ask her if the results could mean anything else. She said Emphatically..."NO". I went home crying and very scared. The MRI was scheduled but it was not for a few weeks. I couldnt wait so I took my blood test to a Endocronologist who took one look at my blood work and said "You don't have a brain tumor, you are in Menopause!" I felt such relief, but still had the MRI just in case. The test confirmed I did NOT have a tumor. I was relieved but very very mad at the false diagnosis and the lack of empathy Dr. Mallor showed when delivering the news.
