We had hoped we could control her health but she was getting progressively worse. We tried other animal clinics but they were too busy to get to us soon. Clayview was able to get us right in and I must add they were extremely sympathetic and professional in the way everything was handled. It was a hard decision but they made it as easy as possible. When we got back home a few days later, we had a letter from them with our pet's paw print along with a sympathy card. We did not expect this kind of experience but it was very appreciated and thoughtful. We may never have the opportunity to use them again being from out of state, but I would highly recommend them for any kind of pet care you may need.

I was also treated very rudely by staff when I took her in with a cough that turned out to be a collapsing trachea. One tech yelled at me and and said "way to go. Now you've exposed every dog here to whatever is making her cough!" Do yourself a favor and drive to LaGrange to King's.

My cat started making a really congested sound when she was breathing randomly that she had never…read moremade before so I decided to bring her here. Very first thing the doctor did when she entered the room was criticize my ability as a caretaker. Just kept saying "oh boy little head big body". Yes my cat was overweight. She was around 10 lbs. But the doctor just kept repeating it. I let the doctor know my cat wasn't great in new places and she may try to flee from the examination table but the doctor didn't seem to care. A few seconds later my cat took a nose dive onto the floor from about 4 feet. After a very quick basic examination the doctor took her back to get an x-ray. Few minutes later came back to show me she thinks she had a tumor or cancer. When i asked which it was the doctor told me she was not adequately trained on the machines to see which it was and that my cat had about 2 weeks left to live. Best she could do for me was a shot of steroid and to bring her back when she starts having breathing issues again. I am only writing this because here I am a year and a half later about to celebrate my cats 12th birthday. A YEAR AND A HALF later. While the nurses were great and kind the doctor felt like she could not be bothered to help and was rushed to do anything. Oh and for anyone wondering oxygen for an animal cost around 75 dollars for a few minutes. Another charge I was given because my cat was breathing heavy. Yeah no kidding. If your put in a strange situation and place I am sure you would be stressed too. Would not recommend.
