To Whom It May Concern,…read more I'm reaching out as a local mother of three who feels completely let down--and honestly, ignored--by a situation that has quickly turned from frustrating to physically painful. Less than two months ago, I purchased what I believed was a quality mattress from Levin Furniture in Avon Lake. This was not an impulse purchase--it took me months of hard work to afford something I thought would provide comfort and support for my family. Instead, in under eight weeks, the mattress has developed a 1¼-inch divot where I sleep. Every single night, I am essentially laying in a hole. I wake up sore, achy, and exhausted. My back pain has gotten to the point where I've had to schedule physical therapy just to deal with the discomfort this mattress is causing. No one should be in pain from something they just purchased--especially something as essential as a bed. What has been even more upsetting is the complete lack of accountability. I've spoken with Teresa in the service department, who simply repeats that the Sealy warranty requires a 1 1/2-inch indentation before anything can be done. Until then, I've been told there is "nothing they can do." At the store level, both Ken and John, the managers, have also told me there's nothing they can do and that everything goes through the service department. So where does that leave me? I'm stuck in the middle--sleeping on a defective mattress, in pain every night, while being passed from one person to another with no one willing to take responsibility. The focus isn't on the fact that the product failed in less than two months--it's on whether it meets a technical measurement so it doesn't cost anyone anything. That's not customer care. That's avoidance. So on Saturday, May 16, I will be taking a stand--literally. Along with my three children, their friends, and neighbors, we will be peacefully protesting with the very mattress that has failed us. We are asking for accountability, awareness, and fair treatment for consumers who work hard for what they have. I believe this is a story many families can relate to. When you spend your hard-earned money on something essential, you shouldn't be told to wait until it gets worse before anyone will help. I would truly appreciate the opportunity to share my story and bring attention to this issue. Thank you for your time and consideration.

A little over 2 years ago, I purchased a leather chair from Levin and the extended warranty. Today…read moreI tried to file a claim because my chair arm has a split. They denined to honor the claim. The chair is not even 3 years old. I will never do business with Levin again. When I purchased the chair I was told I needed the warranty because I had a dog. My dog did not do the damage but I stated that he did because they told me I needed a reason and since I was told I needed the warranty in the first place because I had an animal, I figured I was covered. WRONG! It was just a way for them to get more money for their already bloviated prices. Horrible Service, Poor quality If I could give a zero rating, I would. Purchased warranty under false representaton.

This store makes it super easy to do business. I was able to ask multiple questions, send over my…read morelogo and pay by credit card all by email. If you have a JPEG logo for example there will be a fee (which was under $50 with tax) to have Hometown convert the logo into the file type required for embroidery. When I went into the store to look at the logo once it had been digitized I was able to have changes made to it - delete words and realign other words. The staff were super helpful telling me what is common in terms of logo width and font size. If you have a logo already made they can pretty much execute any drag and resize action you could want. If you don't have a file already, while they don't design logos, they can set you up with stylized words. The staff were super patient as I picked out the colors to be used bringing me spools of thread to compare against each other and against the shirts I brought in and the digital image of my logo. I find their prices super reasonable and everyone was very friendly. It was just $12 per shirt that I wanted to have embroidered. I didn't buy the clothing there, but they had a retail floor of clothing and hats and a half ream sized catalog that you could purchase anything you could imagine from. My shirts were ready for pickup a week later and I was really happy with the quality and colors. I will certainly drop off more shirts soon and I'm thinking some hats too and maybe some of those cloth grocery bags.

Our company has been working with Hometown Threads for the past handful of months for company…read moret-shirts and hoodies. The entire staff has been incredibly helpful throughout the process. It's incredibly fortunate to have a local company in the area. From several past experiences, the design phase(s) was drawn out and the turnaround time(s) exasperating & frustrating to say the least. At HT, it was a smooth, streamline process which delivers a quality product. Makes our decision very easy when it comes to future ideas. It's always nice to do business with people & places that are truly passionate for what they do!
