For several months I had attempted to locate an elusive individual whom I was trying to serve court documents to . One of the difficulties in serving this individual was that he had previously moved out of his home and rented a room. During these attempts i obtained the services of another well known Process Server who exhausted their resources while attempting to locate this elusive individual. Having received the news that their process server company had failed to locate this individual, I contacted Gotcha Legal Services. The owner Kraig returned my phone call the same day,and very soon afterwards had set his team into action to locate and serve this elusive individual. Kraig is a great listener,compassionate, and honest. He stated that though he could not guarantee that the individual would be located and served,he was confident that his team would be successful in serving this individual. On November 14, a week before Thanksgiving, Kraig and his team initiated the process. About a week later, Kraig called me personally and shared the disappointing news that they were unable to locate the individual. However, he was going to continue to utilize his resources at no additional costs, and that he would contact me if he finds any additional information on this individual. I felt disappointed and frustrated and had given up hope of having this individual served. Then on Christmas Eve at about 7 pm, I received a call from Kraig stating that his team had identified an address where they would legally serve the court documents to the individual that had been eluding me for over a year. I was so surprised and grateful for this early Christmas present. On January 5, 2026 I received a phone call from Kraig stating that his team served this individual; they Got Him! I'm feel so grateful for Kraig and his team at Gotcha Legal Services, they accomplished what I and other processes servers could not. They got him served ! I had a very positive experience working with Kraig Vorsatz at Gotcha Legal Services for service of process related to a Contra Costa County small claims case. Kraig successfully completed all required service of process tasks accurately and in compliance with court requirements. His knowledge of small claims procedure was evident, and he provided clear guidance on what needed to be done next once service was complete. I especially appreciated his prompt responses to my many questions and his willingness to explain the procedures required to properly finish the service process. The work itself was handled professionally and efficiently, and the Proof of Service documentation was completed correctly and without issue. That said, a few small improvements could make the client experience even smoother. It would be helpful if Gotcha Legal Services offered an online payment gateway with multiple payment options, and if pricing were stated more explicitly on the website. Additionally, proactive updates on the status of service--without the client having to ask--would be a welcome enhancement. I contacted Kraig Vorsatz with Gotcha legal Service. I had a tenant who was not paying rent and not taking care of the property. I had a lot going on in my life at that time. Kraig alleviated me of a lot of stress with his prompt service and professionalism. He served my tenants a 60 day notice. At the end of the 60 days when the tenant did not pay rent or vacate the property. Kraig provided guidance on the next steps for eviction. He then served them a three day notice demand for payment. When the demand for payment was not satisfied. He once again guided me to what needed to be done. He served them with an unlawful detainer. After that, they vacated the property.
