There are many online CPR courses which I did take but were not valid when I submitted it to the state. I took the class with Francisco the owner which is prior military and firefighter. From day one it was really easy to get a hold of him and to arrange for the class. I got lucky that my class ended up being just me so I got to ask any questions I had and Francisco would gladly answer them. The whole experience was an easy and very insightful. Took a Microsoft Office Specialist Certification Exam here. The Proctors were friendly and…read moreprofessional, but unfortunately they do not get the support they need from the IT and Admin staff in order to offer these exams in a timely manner. The first time I took the exam, the Proctor spent an hour trying to get in contact with a member of FCPS's IT staff to get the license for the software needed to take my exam. This delay definitely took me off my game, and may have been a contributing factor to my failing of the exam by one question. For my retake, it was discovered while I was waiting for the exam that PC used to proctor the exam had not been updated, and would take until after 9pm at night to finish updating. Luckily, the Proctor was willing to come in on her off day so that I could take the exam before my certification deadline. In addition, scheduling the exams were a massive pain, with the admin staff in charge of registration often transferring my call to a person not in the office, resulting in having to play phone tag for over an hour in order to get the exam scheduled each time. Although the Proctors were friendly, professional, and went above and beyond the call of duty, the lack of support from the rest of FCPS's Adult and Community Education staff proved to be extremely detrimental to my experience, which is why I must give them a 2 star review. Until this situation changes, I can not recommend FCPS's ACE program to anyone.

The instructors were great. Nidhi is very knowledgeable, friendly, and open. The class sizes were pretty small and you're encouraged to ask lots of questions. There were also snacks and water which are important to me since i was pregnant and didn't want to go 2+ hours not eating/drinking anything. My husband and I brought sandwiches to one class and we were able to eat them during the class (it was around dinner time/6pm) so atmosphere is casual which I appreciate. You get an online resource packet after the class that summarizes everything covered. Should probably look at that again as i am typing this before my gassy, ornery newborn wakes up.

I learned SO MUCH about the stages baby's are going through when they're first born, the routines you're establishing, the techniques you can use to care for them and more. Renie and Migma are so nice, and so clearly so committed to what they do, I felt extremely comfortable and confident under their instruction. The class imparts so much information in a 4-hour course, and the cherry on top is that after completing the in-person and online class imparts now Red Cross certified for both Adult and Infant CPR, and feel confident in both. Even Though I myself am not expecting, I was welcomed and encouraged in my desire to learn. Whether you're an expecting parent or a loved one seeking to prepare to be an involved member of a child's early life, i really can't recommend Nested and specifically the Newborn Care bootcamp highly enough! I am originally from South Korea and exchanged my Korean driver's license to VA one. So I didn't have driving experience in the states at all and haven't driven for more than 5 years since I got my license in Korea. I wanted to start driving here but I was so nervous and scared. I finally decided to take some driving lessons and contacted almost every single driving schools in Alexandria where I live. None of them answered their phone and replied my email except this 1 Safe Driving School. I went with 10 hours behind wheels lessons and I met my Instructor 5 times on weekend for 2 hours each. They offer pick-up and drop-off service with their practice-car and you will drive that car. I practiced with him from driving around in neighborhood area to how to take a highway including parking lesson. After I finished all the lessons, now I feel more comfortable, confident, and safe while I am driving and I am not scared anymore. So these days, I can drive by my self and I earned a freedom to go wherever I want! Little bit about the instructor whom I practiced with, he was very nice and punctual with our schedule. As I remember, he has more than 8 years experience as a driving school instructor and he knows all most every single road in this area. He can control break while you are practicing even at the passenger sit. I still remember and recall all the advice and lesson he gave me and they are very helpful. (I am still mumbling "look around...look around" when I reverse my car in a parking lot lol) I would recommend this school to my close friends or family. My time and money were worth it.
