Everything you can imagine and more. They sell the ubiquitous jewelry and even bottles of rum to take home. Plus, they have a daiquiri station in the back. The wife had a banana daiquiri and loved it! I was driving and had no alcohol. The drink had a kick and was worth the $11.95 for 8 oz. The woman/cashier was totally rude and not friendly, but even her bad attitude could not detract from the daiquiri and the spectacular views of Megan beach and islands. If you are in the area this place is totally worth the drive. You can do all your shopping in one place. Prices are better at the market in Charlotte-Amalie but I think the selection and quality is better at Mountain top.

I feel like it's always impressive to get a high view of a new city/country and this was no exception. We did drive to the very top as well to try a Banana Daiquiri. Neither my guy nor I are big fans of banana flavored things, but this was very tasty! We were pleasantly surprised by it and would definitely get again. The stand is located within a very large souvenir shop that is a tourist trap with very overpriced items. We didn't see anything that was impressive or interesting enough to actually get.

The streets are historic and it is easy to imagine merchants selling spices and other exotics in the 16th and 17th centuries. The architecture has not been changed and it is fun to explore the nooks and crannies along the streets. Today, there are seemingly dozens of jewelry stores. The wife and kids checked them out. It is definitely a walking city although there are lots of open air taxis that drive around and solicit business. There was more to see than we had time to explore. We did not make it up the hill to see an observatory. We were not able to take the zip line up the other mountain but there is a good view. One tip, if you have a car or even take a taxi, make it up to skyline drive for beautiful views of the bay and other islands. Well worth the short drive from the city.

We miss it tbh :( There are so many retail shops and restaurants to browse through, shop, eat, and drink at. I really enjoyed the Breitling store. The gentlemen working showed us some beautiful watches and treated us to some beer while we looked around. Gladys' Cafe is the go to spot for local cuisine. Her conch fritters are to die for. Yum! I could spend hours here just walking around grabbing a cocktail here and there and sharing an app with my girlfriend, which we did. Ha ;) It's truly a beautiful place with tons of charm and appeal and has so much to offer anyone who comes. I recommend coming in the early evening though because it can get quite hot in the daytime due to all of the concrete, bricks, etc. It's tough to find a place to cool off unless you go inside one of the shops or restaurants. There is plenty of parking, but chances are you'll have to pay, which we did. It's much easier than driving around looking for a free spot. Enjoy :)

The left has big rock as and coral all along in the water where you can find octopus, crabs, fish, stingrays. If you are more adapt at snorkeling you can go out towards the left and past the university dock and there is some great snorkeling there with sea cucumbers, giant pufferfish, eagle rays, some have reported lion fish over in that area even. The right of the beach is filled with rocks, coral and sea glass on the sand. I will leave some photos of all the creatures Ive got on my GoPro. Also tons of sea turtles

We felt 100% safe leaving our backpack on the shore while snorkeling and swimming. Saw plenty of fish! There were food trucks as well as a kayak rental option but we did not partake of either.

A guy met us right off the shuttle to sell chairs and an umbrella. I think both together was under $20. While you're on the beach, there's people selling drinks, food, jewelry, etc. We were approached by a woman who took our order for one fried snapper, a couple of sides and two beverages (one alcoholic, one mocktail). We paid $99 for this. Make sure you have cash because it's easier to pay for things on the beach. We didn't have enough cash to pay so I had to get the establishments Cash App and pay that way. Or you can go to an ATM on site. Now... we had a great time relaxing on the beach, the view is absolutely beautiful plus the clear water BUT if you want something less crowded, I would say to find another beach. There were water activities like snorkeling, taking photos on a clear kayak, and so on so that was nice. There are also surrounding vendors to get ice cream, food, souvenirs, water, etc. Since we took a shuttle, we made sure we caught the last one of the day back to our resort. All in all, it was a beautiful beach day!

One of the men kept telling us to move so he could put more chairs right where we were and told us we were "in his way." It's a public beach and I should be able to lay on my towel where I'm not in anyone's way and not get this treatment. This behavior also extended to others that didn't pay for chairs. The snorkeling isn't even impressive here. We snorkeled nearly every day for over a week at different beaches and this was bottom of the list. Glad we weren't planning on staying long anyways. I literally enjoyed this place soo little, that I forgot to take pictures of it. Drinks were weak, but the fish we got was tasty and fresh.
