For the last 7 years we have been attending different themed teas from Hocus Pocus (our favorite!) to Harry Potter, Alice in Wonderland, and many more. Each tea has a menu catered to that tea's theme. There is so much local history surrounding the tea room/home and Jeff is a descendent of one of the historical owners. We love that they allow into their home and to take part of these magical teas. And if you're ever trick or treating in Corydon you must stop by cause you never know who may be standing on the porch handing out candy.

I visited around 3:15 today and found a sign on the door that said "back in 5". Waited for 15 minutes on the bench outside and then decided to drive over to Quills instead. To keep my little one entertained, they even had a few toys by the fireplace so that she stayed engaged while we finished our lunch and chatted a little longer. Do note that the new owners will offer Kosher offerings when requested I believe. As for the high tea do bring a cooler as you will have enough food for two meals or more. There are several courses so pace yourself. You will not be disappointed with the food or the service. The folks here are friendly and engaging. For those of us who are longtime customers you will see Michelle back with her cheerful personality(as well as the new owners and staff). The atmosphere is super cute with a old Victorian/period theme kind of vibe. The seating is comfortable, and the tea room can hold about 40-50 people seated with a buffet table and drink station too. The food is out of this world! Not only that, but I was able to get some items made specially for me and a couple others who have a gluten allergy. I told the caterer I loved him because this GF Chicken Cordon Bleu dish I had was BEYOND!! The dessert spread was great too, and my GF Peach Crumble with vanilla ice cream was the perfect ending to an already luxurious meal. I can't wait to try other creations!
