Very cute place for a girls gather or for a date. Afternoon tea section was amazing. I had the peach tea. Tea sandwiches were good too. I selected cucumber, prosciutto & Brie, and strawberry/cream cheese. Scone of the day was blueberry great match with the lemon spread. It's difficult to book a reservation, but totally worth it.

London is my home away from home, and afternoon tea is one of my favorite social traditions. I make a point to try local tea services in every city I visit--so I've experienced a wide variety of presentations and interpretations. If there were ever an afternoon tea competition, I'd proudly be the Prue Leith. That's why I was so thrilled when Lexington Tea & Brie opened last year. The owner has done an incredible job putting her creative spin on this beloved British ritual. The service and presentation are top notch, with a beautifully curated selection of Kentucky teas and a robust, flavorful menu of tea sandwiches. One of the things I love most is the ability to select your own tea sandwiches rather than being locked into a prix fixe menu. It's perfect for those who want to customize their experience--or sample something new. And trust me, the sandwiches are so good, I've never left without ordering extra. I've been nearly every month since they opened--sometimes more than once a month--and every visit is just as delightful as the last. If you haven't been yet, make a reservation and treat yourself. Tea & Brie is hands down one of my favorite tea houses in the U.S.

We were so happy they were willing to box up some afternoon teas to go for us. We were able to have them at the ready when the mood struck and enjoyed them on the porch at the place we were staying. We'll definitely be back! The lady we spoke with was super nice and the outside entrance is enchanting.

Our first time in and it was perfect. The food and service were both perfect and the Kentucky Blend black tea is some of the best I've had.

Walking in you will find a cozy yet bright fun space filled with charm including even a little mouse door and so much attention to detail. In the case there are baked goods that apparently rotate on a weekly basis except for a few staple items, but everything we got was absolutely incredible (the chocolate pecan pie bar was to die for). In the corner there are some items for sale along with all of their teas, and while we did not drink any there we did purchase some to make ourselves later (they allowed us ot smell the varieties they had and they were all incredible. Also, they apparently try to purchase their teas from woman owned businesses which is just fantastic) In addition there are a couple of rooms with tables, fantastic to sit down and enjoy tea or treats, and apparently they even have a high or afternoon tea that you can sign up for in advance which I will need to do at some point because that sounds so fun. The staff were all so incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and just fun to talk to. Even the owner popped up and told us all about it and was just overall so full of incredible energy. Would highly recommend and will absolutely be returning in the future!

The almond crossiant was everything it should be buttery, flaky, tasty. The almond filling was really good . As for the Mushroom and Brie crossiant its literally big enough to share if you pair it with fresh fruit or a side salad for brunch. My friend absolutely loved it and I had a small piece of it and again it was buttery and flaky as it should be. And as big as it was we both felt 6.50 was a reasonable price. The opera Cake was chocolatey and had a hint of coffee flavoring in it the filling was light and fluffy. Overall it was really good! Both my friend and I are European (she's from Germany and I'm Swiss and Spanish so we've eaten our fair share of European vs American bakery items. I have to say this was pretty close to what we've had in Europe. The woman at the counter was friendly and engaging. There was no line when I got there in the morning around 8:40 . I can see how on the weekends it gets busy there. The interior was really nice and looked comfortable. The bakery display cases were clean organized, good signage and well lit.

I walked in and was amazed at the huge selection of loose tea available for purchase. White, black, green, caffeinated, unique flavors, you name it and there is something for you here! The owner was so kind as he explained to me a bit about what they carry and invited me to smell the wonderful aromas of the tea by opening the jars and discovering the scents. (This is very sanitary, as the jars are covered allowing you to smell without compromising/contaminating the product). In addition to an array of teas, there is also a merchandise and wide variety of spices. There is metered parking directly outside the storefront. Not everyone is into tea, but I love loose leaf and this place is like heaven to me. And hey, if you're not into it, they even offer tea and a snack for a couple bucks so you can give it a shot. The owner, pardon me for forgetting his name, was so knowledgeable and told me about all the different kinds of tea he had, and even showed me tea that strongly resembles the taste and smell of coffee (so I can get my dad to switch haha). They also have a rewards program that you don't have to sign up for, it's just a little index card that they punch and you can get free tea! Overall, such a lovely place to go. If you're thinking of a certain spice they are bound to have it, and their options of tea genuinely surprised me! i've been loving the darjeeling peach apricot. Worth every penny :)
