Dr. V is fantastic as well, but Ashlyn consistently goes above and beyond to make the experience comfortable. Today she assisted with a teeth whitening treatment, which I had been avoiding for nearly 14 years because my last experience elsewhere was honestly excruciating. I finally decided to try it again, and I'm so glad I did. Ashlyn made the entire process incredibly easy and comfortable. She took so much care to make sure my gums were fully protected, kept Vaseline on my lips so they wouldn't dry out, and checked in with me throughout the procedure to make sure I was doing okay. Because of her attention to detail and care, I made it through all three 15-minute whitening sessions with zero pain, which I honestly could not believe. Even hours later, I have minimal discomfort, which is completely different from my previous experience. It's clear that Ashlyn really takes pride in making sure patients are comfortable and well cared for. Connoisseurship of dental practitioners is one of the dubious perks of first world middle age. In my nearly 50 years of life, I've seen quite a few dentists, some inept, quite a few with hands too big for their chosen profession (note to aspiring dentists: if you can palm a basketball, please consider a career that doesn't involve sticking your mighty mitts in strangers' mouths), and a great many practitioners thinking about their tee times and dialing it in. Based on my experience this morning with an unexpected (and not asked for) root canal, Dr. V proved to be none of the above. I was impressed with both her thoroughness (I note with approval the multiple x-rays she took to confirm that she had cleared the abscess in the affected tooth), generosity of time (the procedure took about 2.5 hours) and hands-on approach to the procedure. As a professional encouraged to improve his efficiency, I'm such there are more profitable ways of handling a root canal. Certainly, other dentists of my experience would have gone faster, or delegated less essential steps of the procedure to technicians. Dr. V. did not do that, but instead, took her time, and also mentored a trainee dental assistant during the procedure. I realize that rating medical practitioners is inexact and unfair, as the outcomes can depend on a host of variables outside of the practitioner's control, such as the patient's health history and dumb luck. My root canal may get infected, and my crown might fall off. Shit happens. That said, all medical care is a crap shoot, and for dental care, you could do a lot worse than having Dr. V. throwing the dice for you.

I found out through my dental insurance that they were overcharging and they owed me on one procedure over $750 This does not include the other ones They assured me they would write me a check and that has been about 3-4 months ago. Every time I call, they put me on hold, they are rude, they do not care. They just say check is in the mail- lies. I had her do procedures on my partner that were not necessary, I have had two other orthodontists to verify this as well as my treatments. Dr. Peterson personally reached out to me and said she was going to take care of this and it never has been taken care of and there has been no communication. It is very horrible in life when you have severe dental anxiety like I do and you think you found somebody that actually cares about you when in reality they don't. This was a money issue that they did wrong, they overcharged on several procedures, they admitted it, and according to Delta insurance they were breaking the contract and owed me several thousands of dollars, but I was OK with them just refunding the $765 or so that they never refunded me. All the excessive cleanings and laser treatments were overcharged as well, There is so much money they took advantage of. I feel like the negative reviews are very true and if you need long-term care or major dental work, I would advise anybody to seek out somebody more professional and ethical. This establishment does not pride themselves in honesty, But what they do is lie and tell you the check is in the mail and they will straighten it out and that day never comes. This was hurtful for me because I really trusted the doctor but this facility is a joke. They're rude and unethical, do unnecessary procedures, and take your money. At the end of the day, that's all they care about.

They tried telling me my PRIMARY insurance is only my secondary, which it is not, and has never been. I've used the same insurance for two years. I will happily drive an hour to NOT have to come to this horrible office, and I suggest you don't even waste your time trying to call. I tried to go into the office itself since I live two minutes away, and all of the doors were locked 20+ minutes before they were even supposed to close.

They told her it would $100 to take a look and she could get in in a few weeks, and then they would tell her how much to fix it. This is typical, and only when she goes in alone. With a parent they treat you a little better, but they don't make it easy. When we call to express our concerns, they could care less. We saw the positive reviews, but those can be trusted about as much as Amazon reviews. I'm not alone with these issues, so if you're a gambler this is the place for you.
