She is patient, very kind, and made the whole experience much easier to accomplish. Every person in the office that we dealt with were superb. (Especially the notary whom I suggested she should look into being a stand up comedian, she was efficient and very personable...and adorable.)

Finished setting up our Family Trust...put it off for years thinking I was still too young to do it…read more& woke up one day realizing I needed to get it done! I chose this group as my extended family & parents have had their estate planning here. I can remember from my teens navigating through loss & watching my Mom as a Trustee finalize my great grandparents estate. I remember going to the meetings with her, how this firm treated my Family members & decided to go directly with them. This office IS professional & certainly look & are the part. Everyone is professionally dressed, the office is neat, clean & organized. Our attorney Kristin Locke is highly knowledgeable of the law & guided my husband & I through the process. On our final appointment she answered all of our questions, concerns & assured us we can call at anytime when needed. (It is a business & charges may apply but absolutely worth the knowledge & security!) We were given our legal estate binder (pictured below) & it also included copies already made up for me to take to the bank & Title company. Kristen filed our new deed for us with the county. Sophia called to confirm ahead of time, the office sent text message confirmation, & emails about our appointment which I appreciate! The beverages & snacks offered every time we were there was a nice gesture & detail that made us feel at home. I will in turn refer my own children here as the years pass! I can enjoy life a little easier now with the backing of Denherder, Grier & Associates knowing my family will avoid probate for what is rightfully theirs. Sharing my experience to help others avoid the daunting task of finding good attorneys!

I've had great success dealing with Laura Anderson and Stephannie Alvarez. In 2012 I was rated 40%. Eight years later, I got an increase to 90%. Then three years later in 2023, I was granted TDIU and get 100% pay with dental and the works. I have two pieces of advice for anyone fighting the VA. First off, get a competent attorney like Mark Lippman to represent you. My other advice is to get them what they need, then sit back and let them do what they do best, fight the VA on your behalf. Do not pester them. They have automated software and know what moves to make and when. Trust the process! They always get back with you, even if it's 9 months later. This is NOT them dropping the ball, they are dealing with the VA which is very slow. They filed a writ of mandamus on my behalf. They got a letter from a doctor stating that I couldn't work anymore. Sorry, but VSOs like the DAV and Veterans of Foreign Wars don't go to these extremes to help you. They have good intentions but have way too many veterans that need help. Now they are about to represent me in Washington DC with a Special Compensation Bonus. Thanks Mark Lippman for getting me the compensation I deserve and helping me live a life with purpose and dignity. Your continued efforts as well as your legal team are much appreciated.

Need a lawyer to create your living trust? Then hire this man…read more I hope what follows will help you, the reader, to make a timely and smart decision followed up by action. The short version of this review has two points. One, setting up a living trust and all that goes along with it (e.g., a pour of will, power of attorney, advance care directive) is one of the kindest things you can do for yourself and the people you care about. Everyone who I've talked to who has set one up talks about the feeling of relief it brings knowing they've set up a legally binding system to manage their affairs when they're gone or incapacitated. Not a fun topic, I know, and that is one of the reasons it took me so long to get my trust completed. I first heard of Mr. Padilla in September of 2018, having been referred to him by a close colleague of mine that I had known for nearly thirty years. She raved about Mr. Padilla and about the sense of relief she felt, knowing that all of her affairs were in order. After our talk, I promised that I'd contact Mr. Padilla right away. Flash forward to July of 2019, and another close colleague of mine had finished her trust with Mr. Padilla. She also expressed her gratitude for his work and the feeling of relief and peace of mind she now felt, knowing that her estate would transfer smoothly to her son in the future. This time I did contact Mr. Padilla. He was warm and professional and followed up immediately with the initial paperwork to move the process forward. And what happened next? I became overwhelmed and perfectionistic about my approach to completing the intake form. Flash forward to 2020. By then, both of my parents had passed away. They had a will, not a living trust, and it took nearly two years to resolve the details of their estate completely. Thank God I have a sister with an MBA who took on the project, and it was a project to deal with all of the legal and bureaucratic details of probate. I realized that I would never put the people I loved through that mess. So I on November 1 of 2020, I contacted Mr. Padilla again. I apologized for my on-again-off-again process and stated that I wanted to be done with my living will before the end of the year. He once again graciously took me on as a client, and by December 12, I had my living trust completed and notarized. What a relief. I feel so much better!! I now feel at peace knowing that the people I love and care about will be taken care of properly when I'm no longer in a position to do it myself. I still have to complete the process of moving my asset into the trust, but I plan to be finished with that in the next two months. Throughout this process, Mr. Padilla was patient and accommodating. During our consultations he broke down the many pieces of the trust into small digestible pieces. The product was a clear and precise legal document that stated what I wanted to be done with my estate and me when I am not in a position to tell people in person. I'd be lying if I said that it was a fun process. But Mr. Padilla got me through it quickly once I was really ready to do the work. So if you need a trust or similar legal service, Mr. Padilla is to see.
