I buy those and put on a bed of potato chunks and bake in the oven. Sometimes I'll place them over 2 cups of parboiled rice with 4 cups of water or chicken broth. Great meal, too. Easy delicious meal. I use their kitchen sink sausage cut in small pieces, air fried and sauteed with sliced green apples, red and yellow bell peppers, olive oil, salt and pepper, and sliced sweet Vidalia onions, and generously seasoned with Herbes de Provence. I love this shop. It's always high quality and fresh! They use no fillers (no wheat protein, no corn protein, no soy protein). This smoked meats shop is legit and makes things the old-fashioned way, wholesome and pure. They also sell stuffed french bread. Instead of buying your sausage at the grocery store, you should come here and get the real deal cajun sausage.

It was absolutely the most mind blowingly good beef jerky that we had ever had. Every year, when we traveled down to Cajun Country to spend a week exploring and finding great places to eat, we always, and I mean always, went out of our way to go here and get a few pounds of jerky to take back home. For a few years, until the FDA got their goofy assed fingers in the pie, you could order the jerky by phone and have it mailed to you in the regular mail, that jerky was not hurt by a few days exposed to ambient temperatures! Then, they were forced to require you to order overnight express, and that added dramatically to the already pricey jerky, so it became a once a year treat again. Stopped by a couple of years ago, and I guess the son took over the business and got stars in his eyes and now he only sells it pre-packaged, just like Link Jerky. It's still better than regular jerky, but not by much. Big disappointment
