We got off the highway towing a 25 foot camper trailer, and started looking for the location. This particular Freddys is a good few miles off the main highway, very close to the University, and smack dab between what appeared to be some kind of student housing and a strip mall that seems to be on the downhill slope of its life cycle. I have to laugh a little bit when I read the reviews that referred to experiences here with descriptions like "it was the worst thing that's ever happened to me in my life." Lol! If an order mishap at a fast food joint is the worst thing that's ever happened to you, then truly I envy your life. Or maybe you need to get out more... Anyway, not sure how many Michelin stars this Freddy's location has received? But they made a pretty good burger served in a paper box. Washed it down with a big fountain drink and topped the whole thing with a chocolate custard. I enjoyed this culinary masterpiece sitting in my truck. Did what it was supposed to do-- tie me over until our camping bbq dinner for a nominal fee. Of course we'll stop at a place like this again; We always do -- and who knows?
