What separates great food here from getting a 5-star rating is their front counter service. Not from an friendliness point of view but just from pure chaos. They need front counter help. Don't have your one guy up front answering the phone while having a customer in front of them, while handing orders to customers while dealing with other orders. Too much for one person. Tacos were good but I'm a little disappointed. This was my first time ordering from here and I don't know what it is about this pandemic but the majority of the time I've ordered take out (from any restaurant) my order has been wrong. I usually take it on the chin but tonight I decided to call and see if they'd at least be compassionate about robbing me for $10. So I called and the young lady answer the phone. If you've ordered from here before, basically you order a bunch of tacos/nachos/etc and you have the option (for an additional price) for add-ons. When I arrived and my food was given to me, I assumed everything was in my bag... I know, rookie mistake. All of the tacos items were there but not the extras which I did pay for. I explained all this to the young lady on the phone and she said, well maybe they fell out of the bag. I was like really? All of em? And nothing else? I didn't feel like arguing bc that just didn't make sense at all so I went on to say, well I guess I'm just out of $10 tonight huh? Her reply was, "yeah but I hope you have a good night" Now I will admit the food was good and my family enjoyed the tacos but I may not be going back based on that lack of compassion. I mean come on... not even an I'm sorry? If I do go back, it'll be on my families dime. First time here and It was an average place compared to other tacos places I've tried. I see what other review mean by food being flavorless. The employees are slow and don't apologize for their mistake. I ordered two different chicken tacos, when they arrived... one was covered with lettuce and when I took a bite it was beef. I reminded and double checked with the cashier again and again if he got my ordered right and said chicken so many times. So when I bit into it I took it to him and got no apology but it was replaced. For someone that can't eat beef, this was major. Ordered the taco sampler with two of each of the following: beef, chicken and Al pastor. They were all delicious and seasoned very well. The pastor has a slightly sweet flavor profile which was tasty but different than the usual spicy Al Pastor I like. This place two words "Taco Coma" after leaving here I was so stuffed I needed a nap. The food was so good. Me and my family got the Full trash can nachos and shared the 12 taco platter. We were excited to try this place today and were more than disappointed. We were the only quests in the whole restaurant and staff was opening and setting up. The cashier was super friendly. We took our time and read the menu, got suggestions and starting ordering. Keep in mind, we were the ONLY 5 customers in there; my husband, myself and our 3 younger children. We were half way through ordering when the owner walked up interrupting us ordering to ask where his schedule was to the cashier. She said I think you threw it away. He said, I wouldn't do that. Well I check out this cool Tex mex spot this weekend. Well been there s few times now. Waiting to do the review just to have a genuine opinion and it hasn't failed. There customer service is one of the greatest I have had and real happy staff. Easy to order and service right then and there. Not that much wait there. Has TVs to enjoy sport or other shows they put. It's a real local spot so it has its regular customer which makes it feel like home. Food hasn't let me down, not greasy and especially for breakfast taco. Those are one of the best in this area. That's what I really go for is brunch. I'm big on salsa so they have a few for you. Also the fountain drinks are one of a kind. Love it. The price are incredibly reasonable. No complaints here plus it matches the dish. It conquers with each other. I ordered the trash can nachos and it came in a HUGE pan! It was enough for a 6 person meal. We ordered the chips and queso, and let me tell you this is like no other queso I've had before. You could taste the queso fresco, and while I thought it was a great touch, others were not so sure. I had the chimichanga and I ate it for 3 meals! I loved it! It was completely smothered in queso! The meat had really good flavor and the ingredients tasted fresh. I didn't get to try the dessert, but I'm looking forward to trying the tres leches. I ordered 6 but after taking the first bite I wished I ordered 10. They were seasoned well but not overpowering. They tasted homemade and ranch was optional when eating them because they were juicy, not greasy. I also ordered the Diablo tacos (beef). Most times I am skeptical to order beef because so many restaurants cook their beef too long and it taste like jerky. Gosh it's so disappointing! Well this was definitely NOT the case here! The beef has a great "grilled" taste and it was tender. The tacos were loaded with grilled onion and bell pepper. Not to mentioned you get 3 full tacos with the refried beans and rice for only $12. My big eyes would not let me walk away from the counter without ordering the Chimichanga. Lord have mercy! I know gluttony is a sin but...father forgive me.
