Very rarely do you get a five star experience when you use Uber eats. I have to give fajita Pete five stars. They are on top of it over here. Let me tell you what. I ordered my food and Uber eats while I was at Lifetime Fitness and the food showed up early. I want to say it took maybe 35 minutes or less. Everything showed up piping hot and absolutely amazing. Food: the fajitas are really good. Along with the rice and beans you cannot go wrong with this place. I really enjoyed the cake. I have yet to eat at this location in person only twice a few Uber eats, and I was very impressed with the food. A lot of times you're letdown when you order via Uber eats but they got the food out so quick that it showed up hot and everything was tasty. I can only imagine how good it is in person. I will definitely stop in soon. I didn't really get to interact with the customer service team, but I am sure they're very nice because they did a great job with my order. I'm so impressed by the customer service, the ambiance, and the food that I'm writing my review now while I'm still here eating my enchiladas. I'm sure this is the owner, but you'll never know. He's the man who will greet you as soon as you enter the door. He'll smile and ask you about your day and tell you all about the specials before he asks what you would like. I mumbled to myself that my mouth was sore, thinking he didnt hear me. He pointed to the enchiladas because they are soft. I don't know if he heard me, but I think he did. Four people came in behind me, and he didn't skip a beat, making sure they got the dish they desired. But here's an even bigger kicker: it was only him, and I think two people in the back, and there was no wait time. We all got our plates in seconds, and the food was hot. He came over to make sure my food was good, and it was. Then he hopped into a conversation with two guys about their jobs. This is one of the many Fajita Petes in the Houston area. This particular location is run by an Indian family. I once called to place an order for a party I was hosting in the area, but realized they were just as expensive at Pappasitos, so I cancelled the order. A year later I was in the area again and decided to dine in. Yes you can dine in here also, even though most of their orders are for delivery and or carry out like a pizza place. I've only eaten the beef from here, but it tastes strikingly similar to Lupe Tortillas. So you are getting the restaurant quality, just don't have to pay for the tip if you dine in. The fajitas for one will set you back about $18. First up were the chips and salsa. The salsa is served warm and is just okay. No, they don't give you hot beans also with the chips. The beef fajitas are pretty good for a quick spot....much better than taco cabana and like I said very similar to Lupe just down the street. The charro beans come with chunks of beef fajita in it. Sides are plentiful and you receive enough meat to make at least 3 tacos. If not 4. They only give you 2 tortillas initially which is chincy, but they probably don't want to waste them since they are homemade. Just ask for more of you run out and they are gratis. Overall, a pretty good experience here. I'll have to put them on my backup list of fajita places. read more

We used to order here a lot and it was consistently good... the last three times we have ordered... it has not been very good quality. I keep giving them chances bc I like to support local business but this will be the last time. The chips were stale and the beef was so over cooked that it was like eating jerky. I decided to give this place another shot and I'm happy to say that I have instantly seen improvements with their customer service. This time around I went ahead and placed my order ahead of time via phone call. Killed about 45 mins to an hour before heading to the restaurant, and was helped by a gentleman immediately. Wish I got the man's name. He was very kind, however soft spoken so slightly difficult to hear. Regardless, he was nice and I appreciated his help. Best steak fajitas I've ever had. Had the chicken & beef combo, chicken was good, but the beef was amazing. The Homemade corn and flour tortillas are incredible. The staff is friendly and helpful. I saw a car that was delivering for fajita Pete's on my way home yesterday and decided I wanted fajitas for dinner. Delivery took a little longer than it said initially but they were polite when I called the store to check on it and it was delivered shortly after and he was very nice. It was a large amount of fajitas for 2, especially compared to other more expensive restaurants. Good flavor and well cooked. I also liked that it came with cheese, quac, sour cream and pico. We ordered churros, tres leches, flautas, beef fajitas for 2 and there was a coupon for free medium queso. What we paid for all that delivered was the same as ordering just fajitas from another restaurant before delivery fees etc. We will probably order from here again. read more

I have ordered food here a few times during Covid and it was OK but tonight I found it to be very disappointing! In the past, tacos came with regular sized tortillas but tonight they were street tacos. Two very small tacos with a side of rice and beans for $10 is overpriced! Highly disappointed! I ordered the mixed fajitas for two. Portion size is not for two. It's for ONE! I should've known better when I pulled the small container out the bag. For the price I paid, I will never be back. I could've paid $10 more and went to Pappasito's, probably not even $10 and got better quality. The beef fajita meat is NOT tender. Literally chewing for 3 minutes. I will not swallow this meat because I know it will take forever to digest. All the fixings were included except sour cream. Luckily I had some at home. Fajita Pete's is too expensive to be of this quality of food. I see why the place was empty at lunchtime. I was the only customer at that time. IHOP has way more business. Should've went there. Prices have increased and that could be a factor....but the price point is good compared to other dine in places for what you get. Coming from the Los Angeles area where Mexican food is a lot different from Texas, Fajita Pete's is a gem. First time I had it was at a wedding. This time we ordered it for home. Both times it was delicious. The beans are the best. They taste like the ones my mom used to make. The steak fajitas were juicy, tender, and flavorful. We also ordered a half gallon of the regular margaritas and I was pleasantly surprised. And by far, the best reason I love this place is because they accommodate my shellfish allergy.
