I was referred to Grace from a coworker after I told her about my sciatica pain. This might have been the best advice I've received while dealing with this pain. The dr was super nice and gave a consultation first. The acupuncture procedure was painless and calming. I felt relief as soon as I stood up from the table. She recommended herbal teas as well as herbal medicines to accompany the treatment. While treatment was going on I could hear other patients rave about her work and give verbal review while in the office. I would recommend this place for anything you are feeling and want to change. Let me preface this review by first stating that I am a healthcare provider and I went to the ER and was hospitalized prior to trying acupuncture and eastern medicine. I had sudden onset double vision with lid droop (pupil sparing partial cranial nerve 3 palsy) and everything at the ER came back clear. There was no tumor or stroke etc so essentially they found no cause. I was discharged and told to take steroids and to wear a patch until this resolved. The day after I was discharged, my husband and I decided to try acupuncture. The first visit went well. Grace and Dr. Lee have great English and I saw lots of non-Asian patients there as well. I was able to use my flex spending and I don't think they took medical insurance but they did tell me to try and call my insurance company to see if acupuncture is something they would cover. There was a short exam ($20) followed by the actual acupuncture itself ($55). The needles, in my opinion, are not painful. Feels the same as when you go eyebrow threading. I rested with the needles in for about 30 minutes then was prescribed some herbal tea and herbal pills to take daily. The hardest part was probably laying there and not getting to scratch your face or head when you're feeling itchy. They do give you a little bell that you can ring and they will actually scratch for you which was really sweet of them! I did not notice much difference after the first session but it is still quite early in the process. I went back for my second session of acupuncture ($55). The needles were in slightly different locations and continued with the teas and pills. Towards the end of the night I was noticing that my double vision was not as doubled anymore! The next morning my lid droop and vision had definitely improved. My third visit was very similar to my second visit. I will continue with the teas and pills until next week but she thinks I will need around 10 session of acupuncture. Overall I would say this was very helpful for my case and if you have not tried acupuncture before, definitely worth a shot! read more

I took my father to see her for Pain that he had in his knees from Stubbing his knees on the Staircase (then started retaining water in his legs and Abdomen which made him somewhat lethargic). After his 30 minute session, Dr Grace gave him some Herbs from her clinic to make a Detoxification Tea and use the rest of the tea to soak his feet in for 30 days......I can't tell you how much of a difference I saw in him within 5 minutes after the treatment!!! He was a whole new person; he was back to himself and chatty the whole way home, he didn't even need help getting out of the car!!! We are treveling from New Jersey to Houston to visit family. My wife has a cold/flu. Our Chinese MD friend from NJ prescribes the herbals after understanding my wife's symptoms. I called Dr. Grace Heh on the late hours. She was very accommodating to stay open for me to get there. She herself got the herbals for us. My wife flu/cold was basically gone after a couple of days. No more coughing, vomit, low temperature, sore throat, .. My wife also took Tamiflu. But I think it's the herbals that kill the flu pathogen or virus. I've been having trouble to sleep two years ago, been taken some medication given by my family doctor. But it didn't help much not mention the dizziness and headache the next morning. So I decided to take acupuncture recommended by my friend. Dr Grace Hao was very professional and kind. Each time I've been given 30 minutes session, during the 30 minutes I can fall asleep easily. The kind of sound sleep I've been longing for. I was addicted to her acupuncture. That was the best sleep I've ever had in years. I went here today because I had some very intense neck pain. This place was very professional. I got exactly what I needed. The lady was very helpful. She gave me acupuncture & also heat on my neck area. Rested and breathed there for about 30 minutes. This was my 1st acupuncture treatment ever. Not sure why people put bad reviews, only thing I can guess is they are competition bc there are a lot of places to go for acupuncture around this area. Terrible, rude, and unprofessional service! They literally refused to help me. If 0 Stars was possible this place would get negative from me. I went in intending to but a lot of dried herbs, told them I intended to spend a lot, and was treated as if I was bothering them. I had a list of exactly what I needed and the lady who was stocking the store refused to even listen to me much less help me. I even offered to look up the name of the herbs in Chinese for her and she refused to even look at my phone when I asked her if she recognized the Chinese name of rosebuds, she immediately said we are out before even reading what I was asking for. And I was not asking for difficult things either, like rose buds, and calendula (marigold). She even asked me to leave because they were so busy... I was the only shopping customer in there at the time, and it was a slow Saturday afternoon with NO one else in there asking for herbs. And I even asked if they had a catalog so I could just look myself and she refused and said they had nothing like that. I was really insulted and frustrated. Especially since I was literally refused service, and asked to leave, when all I did was ask if they had dried herbs... which is what they advertise they provide. No one in the store seemed to speak English proficiently or even want to try and talk to me, or help me. I am not trying to sound insensitive, but someone at least One should be able to communicate with their English speaking customers, or at least try to accommodate English speaking customers, not tell them to leave because you cannot understand them. That's just unprofessional. I felt very unwelcome, which is a ridiculous attitude for a store to take towards a customer. It was just all really unprofessional and upsetting, and I had intended to be a frequent customer since they are so close to where I live; I now will prefer to drive far away than give me business to such a place. You lost a prospective regular customer, I hope you don't treat everyone like that because that type of treatment is unacceptable no matter what line of business you are in. Hope you fix this issue or your store will not last, and despite my terrible experience with your business I hope that does not happen. read more

I have diabetics problem since 1997, it bothers me for quite some time it was as high as 250 even before breakfast last November (2014) but not any more, thanks to Dr. Heh's acupuncture and herbal medicine after 1 month's treatment ,my blood sugar is down to around 100 before breakfast. couple times even below 90 and most amazing thing is that I don't need to take diabetics medicine any more it is just incredible, I really appreciate Dr. Heh's treatment this year I have a healthy body to celebrate Chinese New Year, isn't it great !! read more

I have a benign brain tumor causing double vision. After Cyber Knife treatment, my problem has been resolved. However few months after the Cyber Knife treatment, I experienced my jaw was locked while chewing food . Since doctors cannot give me a reason or resolve my symptoms, I choose to try acupuncture.
