They initially offered $7,000, despite my research showing comparable vehicles in my area valued around $10,500. State Farm rejected my comparables, dismissing them as "inflated," even though their own selections were clearly unreasonable. At the end of August, I reached out to Josh Dorris and officially retained him on September 3, 2025. Josh was exceptionally thorough in explaining the process and outlining the next steps. State Farm appointed an independent appraiser around September 16 or 17, and by September 19, the two appraisers had negotiated a final settlement of $11,750. I'm extremely satisfied with the outcome and the efficiency of the process. From the day I hired Josh to the resolution, it took only 16 days--likely would have been faster had State Farm acted more promptly. Josh was consistently responsive, whether by email or phone, and his professionalism made a frustrating situation much easier to navigate.

I was livid, as I'd put down $5,000 cash and would've lost it all! However, I decided to read my policy, and learned about my right to hire a personal appraiser, so I invoked my rights. I hired Joshua Lee Dorris with Collision Safety Oklahoma, and he went straight to work for me, not putting up with any of their bs! He fought them tooth and nail to get me the most out of my settlement, and he did an absolutely amazing job! He was very communicative, very confident, and very knowledgeable! I'm now walking away with more money than I started with, which to me is deserved since Root put me through so much, and even breached their own contract! If you're ever put in the same position, and your insurance company is trying to mistreat you, I strongly recommend you give him a call! He won't disappoint you, I promise! I had seen her unique design of an "East-West" emerald cut diamond engagement ring and knew that's what I wanted. The emerald center stone runs sideways across the finger, perpendicular to the traditional emerald setting. I had one appointment with her to design a custom engagement ring. I know it's unusual for the bride to have such an active role in the design of the ring, but I had strong opinions about what I wanted and didn't want to be surprised. My fiancé had other appointments to finalize the design and pick out the diamonds. We also purchased our wedding bands here. Considering the time, attention, and skill of all of the employees, the cost is very reasonable. It isn't too high, perhaps it's slightly above average, but that could have been because my ring was created from sketch paper to the mold. I can't say enough about how happy I am with my ring. I don't think anyone else can beat it. Perfect experience.
