When I would pick up my child, I was greeted by workers snapping at kids and constantly kids crying. This is new. The center was never like this before. It is under new management, and its changed in such a bad way since then. They are never within ratio and have workers without all their required child care hours. And I say workers because I do not consider them as caretakers or teachers. They do not do the things required to be that. Recently, two teachers with nearly 50 years of combined dedication to this center were fired based on false accusations. They simply wanted to get rid of their most expensive employees, so they can hire people with way less experience for the bare minimum pay. It is so sad to see what has become of this place. If you do take a chance on this place, you better pray you get one of the few good teachers that are left. Loyal families are pulling their kids from this center because they fear their child's safety. Myself included. Beware. ​

Bright Start School and Daycare is one of them. My girls have been going here for the last 4 years and we have had nothing but a positive experience. They love going to daycare every day. They are well taken care of. They are loved on in my absence. These teachers care about our kids and they are treated like family. My girls have learned so much this past year. They come home and proudly pull out all of their learning sheets and art work for us to display. They have done and continue to do such a great job of keeping everything clean and everyone safe throughout the pandemic and have successfully been able to remain open so the parents can continue to work and feel that our children are remaining as safe as possible. We signed our 3 month old up for the daycare at this church and it was horrific! We had to frantically search from room to room as no staff was helping only to find her crying her eyes out and not being helped. She had a super full diaper and had only been feed twice that day for a total of 12 ounces. When I asked why thrust didn't feed her regularly they said I didn't tell them to feed her. I didn't realize you have to explain to a child care faculty that they actually have to feed your child. This was the worst experience and I highly recommend choosing a new daycare before selecting this horrible place.
