My mom was looking for someone new to do her hair, and we found Bailey, who is recently out of hair school. Since I know the owner Jenna wouldn't hire anyone less than wonderful, I trusted her to take care of my mom, the Judy. I'm so glad we found her! She's as sweet as can be, and she gave my mom the best cut and color she's had in a long time. Her prices are very reasonable, and she really is just absolutely lovely. Fast forward to today - I popped in for a quick wash and blowout before a trip. Bailey took great care of me and I loved the style. But once it was straight, I realized it needed just a bit of a trim and she fixed me right up - super fast and just right. But the neatest thing if all? While I was there, three different young ladies with special needs came in - they were all being treated to up-dos for a unique prom for young people with Down's syndrome. All the girls I saw looked beautiful and they knew it! It was so cool to see them enjoying a rite of passage with all the trimmings. I had a morning wedding so it was a very early event and slightly stressful getting everybody ready so early - Jessica and Bailey were amazing. I couldn't have been happier. Big busy salons can be a little overstimulating for me, and I haven't enjoyed the overall experience of hair appointments in the past, but Alex's quiet studio is almost like a spa day, especially with her head spa treatments (just add these on to all your appointments, your scalp health and nervous system will thank you). She asks lots of questions to really understand how you like your color and your cuts, which is really helpful for getting on the same page since most of us don't know hair lingo. I like to cover my gray and however she does it grows out so soft and subtle, so I can go a little longer than I used to because I don't have that harsh line.
