The owner -Blue- was there , his wife Byrd had the day off. He was really friendly and helpful and I enjoyed his wicked sense of humor. There was a nice selection of hats and I found one to fit my VERY BIG head and decided to buy it. It had a little bit of dust on it and my wife note this and asked me why are you buying a dusty hat? Blue snapped good maturely. I'm not going to send your husband out in a dirty hat! Of course I'm going to clean it which he did all the while having a conversation about Buddy Guy who had played locally the night before. Love the hat, love the store. I've personally recommended this place to hat and music lovers. I'll be back there soon because there was a really nice Panama Hat I'm waiting to put in my big head.

If I was rating this store based on content I'd rate it low but I can't slam them for lacking because they could probably very well order something I needed if they didn't have it. If you're looking for something specific I'd give them a call before stopping by because they literally have maybe a dozen sneakers at best on display. Kenco is a privately-owned and independent company staying true to their number one priority-provide customers with the highest quality products- that can handle any weather condition up here in the Catskills. The store is massive with women's clothing on one side, men's on another- then their other departments follow. And yes, prices are steep- but these folks carefully select their products and only want to sell reliable gear/clothing that will last for years to come. My husband especially loves their 100% thick cotton, long sleeve pull-on shirts he uses when it's frigid- and he's had them for a while now and still look good as when I first purchased them.
