Infants to elementary school kids have have their class rooms with wonderful teachers. Pastor Samuel and his wife Angel and Pastor Matt and his wife Penny are very friendly and welcoming. It is a small church but that makes it easier to get to know the pastors and their wives as well as the other members of the church. Moreover, when any of us are going through challenges with our lives or our faith, they reach out to us by texting or calling or even visiting members in the hospital. We used to have service at the Holiday Inn. However, the church is now located on Main Street which makes it more accessible. On October 6, 2023, they had special prayers with a guest pastor and on October 8, 2023 they officially dedicated the church at this new location. Please check out this church on the right side of Kiky's Jewelry Store on Main Street down the stairs if you are looking for a church home. On Sundays they have service from 11 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. . On Wednesdays from 9:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. they have a call in prayer service. The first Friday of every month, they have a healing service from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. In the summer time, they have a delicious BBQ in the park on the way to Edgewater, NJ. Long-term KBIM church member and former group singer, Ms. Bobby English, is in charge to the BBQ and she makes sure that there is ample food: hamburgers, ribs, hotdogs, potato salad etc. For Christmas, Penny organized a group trip to the light and sound Christian theater in Pennsylvania to see the fascinating production of "David". After Sunday service, Mrs. Patience Gong Lee sets up a table with snacks for "breaking bread" like croissants with tuna salad and chicken salad, or bagels with cream cheese or pastrami sandwiches, bottles of water and hot coffee.

Sometimes entering a church for the first time can be a little scary, a bit overwhelming, because the people there are already connected, and you can sometimes feel like you don't quite belong in a church you're going to the first time or feel like you were a late comer to a party... feeling like you missed out. Not here though! After my first time coming with my husband, the people here are really warm, sincere, and welcoming. The Pastor's wife, Angelic welcomes anyone through the doors with a big smile and with wide open arms. Very family oriented here. The sermons are great, I also enjoy the bible study.. Since the church is in the process of growing this church is anything but uninviting or neglectful to your presence. But they don't overwhelm you with attention or put obligations on you either.. That's why I decided to continue coming. There's breakfast every Sunday and I really like that because I invited some friends to join me and the fact that there are fruits, beverages, and bagels make it more inviting. Pastor Samuel is the primary pastor and he and his family are so unbelievably nice and definitely God-filled, he delivers bible-based messages with conviction and clarity. I can definitely see this church growing very fast. I love coming to this church so much my husband and I have committed ourselves to being part of this church. Lead pastors ooze love & hospitality. This church truly embodies the Bible verse John 13:34-35 where Jesus tells people to love one another. Oh and they have plenty of parking which to me is what can be an absolute deal breaker at many churches I've visited (at least for me). If you live within 25 mins of here, I highly recommend visiting. This is borderline a medium to large sized congregation but not exactly a mega church.

Upon arrival, the church resembles somewhat of the Byzantine style. Completed in 1965, St. Thomas Armenian Apostolic Church continues the Armenian heritage and culture in their children by keeping them together through a common purpose. Upon entering the church right after service, one can't help but smell the aromatic scent of the incense. Besides the beautiful stained glass on either side and altar, their prize possession has to be the dome covered in stained glass and hanging lamps. We entered the Atrium (Mekhjian) and Ariyan Halls with vaulted ceilings, skylights, and expanded windows to join other patrons in purchasing food and baking goods to eat at their dining room or to go. With the limited menu, we decided on the platters: chicken, lamb, and luleh (a blend of ground beef and lamb rolled into a sausage-shaped log). Each was accompanied by rice pilaf and salad. It was tasty, delicious, and homemade. While eating, we got a chance to meet up with Jacklyn Baltain, the event coordinator and parishioner organizing this event.
