I helped a friend move to a much smaller place. The move happened in 4 weeks. I emailed Grace moving on a Sunday and the owner Sally responded that same day. The quality of service started at the top. I requested to have some packers to help prepare the house. They sent Ashley to sort, donate and prep the house. Ashley worked with my friend. Ashley's empathy, kindness, guidance and outstanding work ethic has saved the day. She will continue to help at the new place making it a smooth transition. Grace moving did such a good job with our move from Modesto, California to Sacramento, California in July 2025. The crew was Jesus, David, and Turk and these guys were so professional, took good care of our possessions, showed up early (bonus), asked questions, and kept me informed every step of the way. The estimator John Brennan was very courteous, professional, and allowed me to ask as many questions as I wanted. I would change my move date if the Grace movers were not available. They are that good. They have moved me and my family more than 10 times in the last 5 years and i have never had a complaint. From difficult moves out of a cabin with many stairs to an easy move from one apartment to another in the same complex, every time has been seamless. Also, so reasonably priced. I have stressed about trying to move my aunt on a very strict budget. I opted to rent a truck & then looked for moving services. I read positive reviews about Graces moving company & after quite a few "interesting" calls & quotes, I called Grace. I was met with professionalism, a friendly staff, John was our estimator, and he gave us the biggest boost of confidence after our meeting with him & we had constant contact from the company until the moving day. Caleb and Michael arrived promptly on the day of the move and worked meticulously running in and out of the house and stacking the truck perfectly so everything we had fit and we still had a little space left over. After a few asks for recommendations, I was referred to Grace Moving and I am glad I did. Their estimator was prompt, professional and thorough with his visit to provide me with his same day quote which happened to come in under the 3 others I was previously quoted. Our move involved a very tight window of time between receiving keys to our new home around 1p and having to be out of our existing home by 5p. During the initial consult it was clear to me that the estimator (sorry for forgetting his name) had my best intentions. Our load was not huge and he confirmed it would be a half day job at most but would still meet their minimum hours per job. He offered ways I could save money by helping move things into a central location or point out more as they are in the processing of moving the day of. Vincent and Edgar (movers) arrived as scheduled and immediately offered a warm thank you and handshake for choosing their services for our move. Courteous doesn't do them justice. These men were polite, professional, efficient and handled our belongings with the care you would expect from a highly rated company. Our movers were wonderful, very careful with all of our things, extremely respectful in every conversation. They went above and beyond. The office staff was easy to work with and communicated well. With so much going on as you can imagine moves are pretty hectic, I missed a detail on the estimate stating it was final, the movers finished about 2 hours earlier than expected and mentioned there could be a small credit, no credit was able to be obtained due to that detail. I was faced with a very short timeline having to move my disabled mom while she was in rehab. The office staff was so kind when I called and answered all my questions and was able to schedule me in two days time. Such a stressful time but Caleb and Jose arrived promptly on time, reassured me that they would take care of things (even moving a fish tank full of fish carefully out of the way) and proceeded to efficiently and professionally move my senior mother from one apartment to another, including a beautiful grandfather clock and the heaviest dresser on the planet with incredible care. They were friendly with me and the other residents who were full of questions. They were so incredible kind! They finished a tad early and even though they were paid by the hour, didn't try to milk the extra time for additional money. They only gave themselves a 5 minute break the entire morning!
