Pricey- gel fill $75.50 plus tip. Wasnt even a full set. Just a fill! Cant justify that price for subpar work. My white french tip paint is all diff thicknesses and shapes. Gel is lumpy. Sides are uneven. One nail has a gray line down the middle and after a 2.25 hr fill apt I had to leave to make other engagements and was told to come back tomorrow and they would give me $10 off to fix it.... I went here today (Now called "M Nails") for the first time ever. I've driven past multiple times and today it seemed fitting I give them a try as they're one of the few in the area that are actually open on Sundays. I called first and asked if they could squeeze me in, they hung up on me. I chalked this up to a bad connection or mistake and went anyways. The staff was pretty friendly, especially the woman who did my nails. I could tell she really cared about making me happy because she asked a bunch of questions regarding the shape I wanted, design, etc. Overall, I paid $90 for what I would call a decent job. Which I would personally never do again based on how they came out and how expensive it ended up being... but to each their own. Stars for effort. read more

Went here early in the morning right when they opened and was greeted by one of the girls. I showed her the color I want and she started on a gel manicure. The owner (I'm assuming) came in shortly after and greeted me. The girl doing my nails showed the owner that my nails were very thin, which I had noticed since they had been chipping and breaking lately when going to my usual nail salon (will not name which because I had a poor experience there last time which turned me off from returning). The girl seemed unsure of what to do, so the owner stepped in and took over. He explained that my nails were getting thin due to rough filing and suggested I do the powder gel. I told him to do whatever his recommendation was. He explained to the other worker what he was doing as he worked on my nails and did an amazing job. My nails feel so strong now and will definitely be returning in a few weeks. The only downside was I was there for quite some time and had somewhere to be. Not their fault though. I didn't realize how much longer the powder gel process was than the polish process, and truthfully my nails were a mess - some broken, different lengths. He fixed them up completely and made them all equal. He noticed I was looking at the time often and said he was almost done. When I apologized and said I was just late for where I had to be, he finished up and grabbed my bag and coat and walked me out to my car. He even started it for me to ensure I wouldn't smudge! Amazing customer service, and unlike other salons, they don't make you feel bad for having less than perfect nails or confused on how to fix them. I get my nails done every 2 weeks, but due to thin nails they were a mess when I walked in. All in all, I had a great experience. read more

I have been going here for YEARS. It was the place to go. Unfortunately the last 2 times I've been it it was disappointing. Today I went in for a fill, just my second with the set, which I was told would take an hour. 20 min in I realized they had taken off my entire set without telling me. I left a hour and a half later with gel polish. Which would have been fine if that's what I went for, but I didnt. This wouldn't be a big deal if they told me they were taking off the set rather than telling me "ok" when I asked for a fill. In that case I would have left and gone back when I had time to get what I wanted. I had told them I had limited time so despite them offering to put a set back on, after they took off my entire set I had made clear upon my arrival I just had time for what I went in for. I think the owner is the best and understands that good customer service goes a very long way. Whenever I go he always makes sure that I pay before they put nail polish on. 90% of the time I am walked out to my car and he opens the door, starts my car and make sure I haven't nicked any of my nails. The atmosphere does NOT smell like chemicals like most other nail salons do. Yes, I have had a bad nail tech but that is not the norm. They don't push you to have the more expensive nail package. They are friendlier than most nail salons. They may be slightly higher in prices but it is worth every penny. They always have a good movie playing on their large TV screen. You get a free neck massage that feels sooo good, and are not rushed at all. I just wish they would hurry up and finish the repairs from the fire so I can get a good manicure and relax. read more

I am not typically one to review places poorly unless I feel it is absolutely necessary. I just had the worst experience with a gel manicure. When I showed up, a man outside smoking (never got his name) came inside to tell me which gel powder color to get. I then found out he was the one doing my nails. No greeting. He filed and cut my nails, and when he was fixing my cuticles he cut me and I had started to bleed. I repeatedly flinched as he pulled off the dead skin, as he was extremely rough and was hurting me. He also did not wash his hands before my manicure, and had dirt and cigarette ash under this (sharp) finger nails. He put rubbing alcohol on the cut, but I immediately worried as even the area where I was getting the manicure was not clean, with shaving and clippings. He then proceeded to complete my gel manicure. I still have the polish on the sides of my fingernails which dried there. There was no cleaning of my hands, or lotion, or any extra little touches most salons do to assure customer satisfaction. He did offer a massage, though I declined as he was already rough with the manicure. The whole time he seemed like he was annoyed he had to do my nails. He kept sighing and huffing, and rushed through the entire manicure. I also think I over paid, even with leaving him a tip, as I couldn't understand what he said for the price. Charged me $40, when the sign said $30. I didn't realize this until after as I was in such a rush to leave. I have never had such a bad experience at a salon. I saw so many recommendations and 5 star reviews for this place, and maybe it just happened to be the man who did my nails that ruined it, but I will not be returning. I stopped in to Grace Nails for the first time this morning (Open Sundays- a huge plus) for a pedicure. I was in a rush to get to an engagement photo session so I chose the basic pedicure. The place is immaculate, so sanitary, had a nice polish selection, great chairs, and my nail tech was very gentle and nice! Even the basic pedicure included the best foot & shoulder massage I've ever had. Relaxing music played and the TVs had a recent Anne Hathaway movie with captions on- great ambiance. As someone else mentioned, I just couldn't stop starting at how HD the TVs were. My pedicure came out looking FLAWLESS. Getting my pedicure here was such a treat and I can't wait to come back for another relaxing experience. read more

I've visited the salon on 3 different occasions. The salon is light and airy with soft music playing in the background. As another person mentioned, there are two large screen TV's on the wall if you prefer to watch a movie. I must say that the staff is extremely courteous, helpful and talented! New tools are used for each client and a fresh plastic covering is placed in the foot bath for pedicures. Clair was helpful in making future appointments, as was the owner Eric. I received both of my pedicure and gel French manicures from Kevin. He's very meticulous and pays attention to detail. I've received numerous compliments on my nails from friends and strangers. I highly recommend the salon, it's a refreshing change in management and staff. read more
