Today I went in to get my feet done and I already made appointment with Hannah. She said come thru ok it took me 8 min because I don't live too far. I go in and this dude did my feet. I'm watching him whole time because I'm A nail tech myself so I wanna take a break and let someone do my feet right for a change. Self care is the most imporant thing than money and I feel like my self care was ruined because I'm asking this@supposedly to be nail tech how to do his job right. First I ask him to file my nails into square and do it right. He just at me with attitude because I ask him specially what I wanted. He did then I ask him to buff it before he apply polish it because you want your feet to look right and feel right? Again attitude. Part 2 so while he apply the polish I notice 2 bubbles spot on my right feet? I ask him to redo it because it not gonnns come out right mind you there lines onto my toes. I ask again totally ignore what I asked. Then he got on the left feet and it Doesn't look right at all because I said I can see the line on my toes and you didn't bluff it or sand it right? So his helper were explaining things to me and I'm like no it not suppose to look like that. How would u feel if that were your feet would u take it? She said nothing so I said I won't be coming. Back here because it clearly he doesn't know to do people feet right?! Here is the pictures of My feet's now. If you called yourself a nail tech show me the work? I feel that he probably don't have proper schooling done and just learning from family member it cool but it not cool for me at all. I called when they first opened to make an appointment and they asked what time I would like and I asked for 2:00 and she said fine. When I arrived at 2:00 no one greeted me and finally I said I have an appointment for 2:00 and then she told me to have a seat. I asked how long and she said 20 minutes. I left. Why make appointments if you are not honoring them! The vibe was not good in there at all and very cluttered and claustrophobic. I will not be back ever. read more

I've been going to get my nails done here for about a year now because they are close to my house. For the most part I've not had too many complaints, and the last 3 times I've gotten my gel refill done by Hanna and she is so good! Unfortunately, last Tuesday I came in (without an appointment) and had a very poor experience. There was another customer there getting a pedi, and after she was done with that she needed a mani as well. Apparently she was in a hurry as she needed to go to work. Hanna was in the middle of painting my nails and maybe had about 5 minutes left. The owner tried to have Hanna STOP doing my nails so that she could start on the other customers nails because she "had to go to work". I said absolutely not. I have never in my life had an experience like this. The customer was also very rude to me for saying no. Also, while I was getting my nails done, another person came in and had an appointment, and after 20 minutes of waiting she walked out. I will not be returning to this salon and don't recommend this salon to anyone if they're looking for a place that has any respect for their customers or their time. read more

Wow what a wakeup call afyer not being here in awhile. i felt like i was being punished! called for a time for a color change which is what i usually do. i also tip excessively. i do my own prep: wash feet, push back cuticles, cut & file so NONE of that has to be done. all i need is an application which i am willing to pay for. ALWAYS bring my own polish. just wanted french manicure on feet. young woman obv had language barrier about what i wanted. she started applying one color & i reminded about French. she corrected. no top coat. dried and was charged $25. when i asked about price hike Tiffany said one color $15, french $25. Im going to start doing this myself. this cost with a gratuity is ridiculous. it takes ten minutes & they act like theyre doing a mona lisa! it used to cost $28 for BOTH hands & feet for a color change. but now $25 just for color change on feet after I do all the prep! know what? Ive been using press on nails from a 21 year old who showed me how to make them last for 2 weeks. they cost $5 @ Dollar General. going to start using for toes too, its not that i am not willing to pay for services but geeze, this was ridiculous. Its got to be reasonable $25 for 8-10 minutes? i work too hard for my money & I can tell you Im not making that an hour! shes probably paying this poor girl less than $10! read more

They are extremely rude!!!! Nails are bubbly and chipping then tell me I have to pay full price to fix because I can't come in mid day because I'm working. Tell me I'm difficult because if they mess up I ask that they correct it. My daughter is 5 and goes there with me for mommy daughter day and they are rude to her too!! They put her feet in water JUST WATER filled and painted her toes and charged me $60 for full pedicure. She made fun of my eyebrows then told me she can make them better with microbladding. Said " if your daughter messes up her nails we won't fix because we are too busy!" SHES FIVE WTF!!! Never again. I should've known from the first visit when I watched Tiffany tell a customer it was her fault her nails were the way they were when she came back to have them fixed 2 days after being there. Then they sat around after she left talking about her. I had flys landing on my face while there and the guy who did a terrible job on my nails was rude to me and my little girl. Honestly my nails were beautiful. But OMG this was the worst experience in a nail salon ever. I'm not one to complain or blast someone on the internet, but that's how bad it was. First of all the lady who did my nails did not know how to draw designs on nails. That should have been a giant red flag there. She was unbelievable rude the whole time. Mocking me if I did something wrong with my nails. (I usually don't get my nails done so I don't know the process too well which I get can be frustrating) It was so bad I was almost in tears by the time I left. I am writing this review with a heavy heart. The first time I went I was pretty impressed with this place. Friendly service and reasonable prices. I went again a couple of days ago. Never again. I got a pedicure and he drew blood 3 times! I have scaps on 2 of my toes still and my big toe is sore. The owner made several excuses and told me my nails look great. So basically I should excuse my destroyed toes? Also, I asked if I could have my loyalty card stamped but she told me no since I didn't get a fill. I spent almost double what I would have paid for just a fill (I got other services done) AND I was cut 3 times so I figured that was the least she could do. Nope. She needs to learn a little bit about customer service. I will not be returning and I do not recommend them to anyone! read more

I started visiting here after the shut down and Phat is the nail tech I see each time. He does an amazing job, he is very thorough with his work and after getting acrylic tips the last few months I went in today and decided to take the acrylic off (my nails are the longest they've ever been on their own so I wanted to see if we could let them breathe and continue to grow) and put a thin gel overlay on top with gel polish. I fully expected to have to cut my nails down because of breakage when taking the acrylic off but not one single nail was damaged! If you want a dedicated, professional nail tech, he is your guy! The green polish is the length my natural nails got to, and he was able to keep the shape! read more

They have been falling short lately. I'm not sure if it's them rushing or not caring but really considering a new salon to go to.

She charged me $5 extra dollars for a designer nail polish and then didn't apply it correctly.

Tracey is very nice but very bad at doing nails. She literally drew blood on me and pretended not to notice.

I took my special needs son and myself to have our manicure in April 2019. What a mistake!! I had made an appt. but I don't even think they looked when I told them. They did take us in about 5 minutes of our arrival. The first thing I noticed upon entry is the horrible smell of the nail chemicals. I don't think that they have any air purifiers in the building. The next thing was they put my son about 2 tables away from me and I could not keep a very good eye on him. The tech he had as well as the one I had were NOT very friendly. When I asked any questions the answer seemed to be "I don't know." NO smiles at all! When my son came over to me when he was "finished" I noticed that there was no nail polish on his finger nails. His tech had disappeared. When I asked my tech if the other one was coming back she just shrugged her shoulders. I finally had to ask her to go get his nail tech so she would put nail polish on his nails. She did a horrible job. Mine weren't any better. When I asked if she had planned to put hand cream on my hands her reply "That's only if you get gel nails." WHAT!! I will never go to this place again. I saw my son's nail tech put hand cream and hot cloths on his hands and he just received a regular manicure. When I was telling people what had happened they all said "I would never go there. I had a very bad experience............. I can't wait for "Grace Nails" in Wolcott to open up again. I will be going back to them always. read more

Went in for a pedicure wait was 20min, I was going to leave because in a rush. Tiffany insisted on me getting a manicure and pedicure she came over looked at my nails told her I had gel polish also told her I didn't have the money to spend on both the gel manicure and a pedicure so I would do regular polish. Said I will do the manicure pedicure that is for $35 she handed me the gel colors I told her again I don't want to spend the money on the gel! She said this time OK manicure pedicure $35. Then rang my card up for $55 with tax came out to $58 and change then proceeded to tell me that it's not her problem that I should've known and that she had no idea what I was having done on top of that my toe polish and my nail polish are two totally different colors I will never go back there again she is horrible business owner! And for an owner to argue back with a customer telling her it's not her problem is absolutely ridiculous! Will never go there again!!!! The lady did the worse job on my nails ( I got a basic gel fill ) she was mad when I told her I didn't want the gel nail polish she picked out (they charge more) I did bring my own favorite opi color. Then realize when I got home I was overcharged for my nails! I happen to grab one of their pricing menus before I left and realize she charged me for a French manicure when all I got was a basic fill. I am new to getting gel nails so wasn't sure of the pricing and she totally knew that and took advantage of it! I will never go to them again. read more
