The driver waited five minutes for me and then found a better fare and told the receptionist she was leaving and would call someone else. After two hours of calling and waiting for MedRide, a nurse from the dialysis facility finally had to take me 30 miles home. You'll deal with poor management, hit-or-miss scheduling, lack of communication, extremely long hold time on the phone, and MedRide lying about ETA in response to numerous complaint calls from nurses, receptionists, patients and social workers while you wait. Two hours is too long to wait after dialysis when you're sick and dying! I absolutely WOULD NOT recommend trusting MedRide to provide transportation for anything important. It's all about money. Even my favorite and best drivers are overshadowed by the inefficiency of management. It gives the impression that the company doesn't take proper time to train office, customer service, scheduling staff or management. In contrast, many of my drivers were so kind, pleasant, efficient and empathetic that it makes me wonder why some of them are not being trained to run the company.

The only reason they're getting 4 stars, is because they have decent staff and 98% of the time, the drivers are cool. But, they really need to make sure their drivers have enough couth to not fart in the car, cause that's really disgusting, and I don't appreciate having to smell a fart in a taxi on the way to my destination and back home. Since I know they have volunteers helping mail out statements I had no idea that someone was actually UPS.They had to come back the next day when everything was packed up correctly. Simple fix, let clients know to box up the equipment for a UPS pick up. Six days after informing them of her passing we received an automated call to check the equipment because it didn't seem to be working properly. This is absolutely unacceptable! In this day and age there has to be a way around this so that grieving families don't get such an awful call.

I had a ride in 2020 that went smoothly. since "attempting" to use their services the past 2 weeks…read morethey have screwed up in every way. 1. My first appt they didn't pick me up at my home and after three phone calls in a two hour window a driver called to pick met up at my doctors office instead of my house and was 20 minutes late getting me at which point I rescheduled for today. 2. I called to have originally two scheduled rides. And the day before my appt scheduled to have my pickup from home to the doctors canceled. Just now I found out they did not cance that appt and went to pick me up at my house and I was not there. I called and spoke to the director of the dirextor and explained the situation and had to cut it short as I was in the middle of my appt. Another agent called me to let me know they're short 5 drivers (no surprise) and wanted to pick me up instead of at my scheduled 10 am slot, offered to pick me up at 12 noon. Needless to say. i would rather pay for an Uber ride a z taxi or ride with metro transportation any day of the week. I pray their disability trial program does not get renewed another six months bc after these two experiences and having spoken with 2 managers that there is dire incompetency in the way this organization is run. I highly highly recommend and Rita for transportation, it is amazing the service that they offer. It's not just transportation, friendly drivers that build were poor with the customers and EnVida goes to great links to make sure that the customers are taken care of. I like that. They have a 10 minute call that comes in. It's an automated update. Call that let you know exactly what number vehicle will be picking you up and exactly what time thank you so much EnVida for your professionalism and friendliness.
