Fun gossip colums and of course lots of ads for the various bars, restaurants and clubs. I'm gonna have to make this short, I hear Butch headed this way. .......close call, it wasnt him.....anywho, the thing I dont understand about GLT is their lack of coverage of the Transgendered and Lesbian community, I think they could do better. The studio is a pretty big too. I got a good deal buying a package of 8 hours to record, and I can split them up however I want. If you don't have a beat, Godson can provide you one of his at a good price, and their REALLY GOOD. I would recommend this studio to anyone trying to record good music. With Godson producing you, it will turn out better than you could imagine. He is really dedicated to his work and your defiantly in good hands with a really good guy when you record at Full Clip Studio in North Park.!!! I like NPR and came here on Sunday to be part of a live broadcast taping of podcasts with the…read moretitle, "Art of Protest." Nice space for a news room and was cool to come listen to this inaugural live taping. Parking is tight around here but the event had free parking if you registered for it. I did not and ended up paying over $20 for parking in a nearby lot, highway robbery. Some of the people interviewed were really interesting. I learned about the Chicano Park here in SD and the murals (I will visit soon) and also learned about the SD chapter of the Black Panthers. They also featured a Latina comedian (she was pretty funny) and also a Thai American signage artist (I mainly came to see his works as his artwork is super neat). Koy Sun is his name, look up his artwork, its pretty sweet. After the taping, there was a nice reception with some finger foods and I enjoyed the beef empanadas they were passing around. Overall, a fun and educational Sunday afternoon. Id come back here again.

The anchors at this news channel are the epitome of class and grace. Their journalistic integrity is impeccable. Aaron Dickens, specifically, is clearly a journalist who works tirelessly to bring to the public the information that we need in our community. Mr. dickens has always come across to me and those who I know, as a man of absolute journalistic virtue, decency, and sincerity. - I always look forward to hearing from Aaron Dickens as he is bright, well-spoken, engaged and interested- not just in the stories he reports on, but in the community with whom he engages and brings this invaluable information to. Reliable journalism is hard to come by nowadays, and when I see it, when I hear it, and when I am all the more informed by it... I know it. Anyone who puts themself into the public sphere knows that they are opening themselves up, all too often, to the petty, the immature and the ignorant. That is a courageous thing to do and it something, I would wager, that anyone who would make their career out of reporting news as their life passion, is dedicated to the work they present and the communities that they inform with the news that we need. I am saying this with regard to the entire news team who, some folks it seems, think simply because they see a face on television, that they have the right to spew unwarranted and baseless, uninformed and obviously petty insults upon. I applaud Mr. Dickens in his life's work, his commitment to journalistic principles, and his courage to get in *front* of the camera and say what he needs to say with his *face* behind his words. Trolls are gonna troll. Jealousy is an ugly thing. Objectivity may be impossible but fairness and truth, in the face of the useless bs of the *faceless*, is what news people walk into news station and handle with grace every day. Ps. The sparkle in Mr. Dickens eyes is one of humor and understanding. And that acceptance of the community is what makes him STAND OUT. everything else is just noise. Keep doing what you're doing guys.
