It was a blessing to take her and our second GSP, Harper to their place. My dogs LOVED LDR. They were able to run, hike, and play in the pond. I was fortunate to have such a great place to take my dogs. Piper lived to be 16 and up until the last weeks of her life, she still went to Lucky dog. Harper passed away sooner (GSP rescue) but absolutely adored Jeff and Susan. Jeff and Susan, the owners are fantastic people and always treated my dogs with the best care and attention. They even let us lay Piper and Harper to have their final resting place at Lucky Dog. I highly recommend this place. They not only have great daycare but the cage free boarding is a refreshing change from having to board dogs at a facility where they only get to stretch their legs a few times a day. In other words, they seem to either really love them or completely loathe them. For the most part, my experiences here have been positive so my loyalty remains intact. I started bringing my cat here when I adopted her 5 years ago for routine vaccines as well as minor illnesses. Every doctor and vet tech I've encountered has shown a genuine interest in the well being of animals and they always treat my cat like a queen. I also appreciate the fact that they make an effort to be upfront about pricing by disclosing the cost of each procedure before they are performed and even offering (cheaper) alternatives if possible. The amount is not set in stone though! The last time I brought my cat in for an illness the final bill ended up being about 25% higher than what I was initially told it would be. Only once did I stray from CityVet (no pun intended!) because another vet nearby had an earlier appointment. Despite the fact this this place has a 5 star Yelp rating I didn't find the level of care to be any better, just more expensive. So, it was an easy decision to stick with CityVet.

Dad used to take me somewhere else for my beauty treatments. Every time we got near their door, I fought him tooth and nail. I mean, TOOTH AND NAIL. Dad apparently thought I was being difficult. I thought I was exercising my constitutional right to refuse bad grooming. Then we found Nails to Tails. Now when Dad says, "Sossum, we're going to see your friends," I beat him to the vehicle. I know exactly where we're going, and I am ready to roll. The people at Nails to Tails treat me good, take care of me, and apparently understand that I am a very important customer with certain standards. So, from me personally: Five stars. & Four paws up.
