When we moved to Arkansas from another state, we couldn't find the same type of karate classes our son had been taking for a year and a half and so we decided to broaden out and look for something different. When searching online for local martial arts, we came across Gracie Jiu-Jitsu. They offered a deal for prospective students and we decided to try it out. Our son is 6 and the very first class, he got taken down by another student and was pretty upset. The Instructor was awesome with him, helped show him how the moves were, let him try it again. I thought for sure my son was not going want to do it again after crying and being upset on that first experience. But the instructor handled it so well, he wanted to try another couple of classes. We had two more classes on our into deal, and by the end of those my son was hooked. Love this placed love the patience the instructors have. On some days there are tons of kids here and it would be daunting to try keep that many young kids focused. But they do a great job. My son has been willing to try new healthy foods because the instructor talks to the kids about healthy habits and build strong healthy bodies. It's been great so far for us. Definitely recommend! read more

My daughter just started here and she loves it! Josh is an amazing teacher and is so great with the kids. It's not just about learning Jiu Jitsu, they also focus on characters traits like responsibility etc. Definitely recommend sending your kids to classes here read more

He had a wonderful instructor in Dallas that was a grand master and taught a very traditional style focusing on forms and technique. Wolf Pack Martial Arts appears to be a bit different and may be a different school (version)of TKD and they seem to mix a bit of this and that with the TKD, but my son seems to enjoy it and that is what matters. We want our son to have an environment outside of the home that demands respect and discipline and while not as strict as his previous instructor (age 70+) it seems they hold similar values. Price wise it's similar in cost to what we paid in past. The only thing I can say I would like to see is more of the owner. He's up there in ranks (dans) and that experience is a boon to any school. I understand that based on the system they use instructors can be lower dans but experience is as I said a big deal. Even if to drop in and provide that knowledge in the lessons. Again our expectations and experiences are flavored by having a very seasoned instructor who started learning the art if TKD in Korea at age of 10 and is now a respected Grand Master who still personally taught all classes and is the reason I mention this. However, I think if this is my big beef, I would say this school is doing a mighty fine job of meeting my expectations and that of my son's. The instructors I have encountered are very respectful, kind, and engage their students.
