What an adorable little gift shop located in Grafton center right near the Grafton common. My daughter lives in the area and suggested it after going out for breakfast nearby. It has a little of everything and some beautiful Christmas items and decor around the holidays. There's a baby dept, jewelry, and clothing section. It's a quaint spot with very friendly service. I'll definitely stop in to check out their offerings after the holidays! read more

This is the one of the best gift shops in the metro west in my opinion. There's a huge inventory and a little something for every budget. The nice thing is that they carry all kinds of usual gift store items like Brighton jewelry and also plenty of artisanal gifts that are so unique which will make your friends wonder where you found them. The store is small and packed with neat stuff in every corner but it adds to the charm. There's a nice ice cream place which is adjacent to this store. My husband is always happy to relax at the ice cream shop while I explore this cute little store. They offer very nice gift wrapping as well. read more

The Grafton Country Store is adorable! Right on the common in Grafton, it is quite charming and also has a small coffee/tea shop attached. They carry a HUGE variety of gifts, soaps, candles, and seasonal items. Defiantly worth the trip around Christmas, with the lights on the common and tons of great ornaments to look at. read more

Cute country store with gifts and home decorations on one side of the building, and a small cafe (called the Common Ground) on the other side. I was home for the Thanksgiving weekend, and came here for coffee with a couple hometown friends. They had basic options -- coffee, teas, cocoa -- and over a dozen syrups that you can mix and match. I had an Americano with chocolate and mint syrups. Apparently "Americano" = "iced coffee" here? Not what I was expecting on a cold and dreary November day, but yummy nonetheless. My friends and I sat in the small cafe area for an hour or so, chatting, then explored the shop. Lots of unique holiday ornaments and gift items. There was even a special display with a sign that touted something along the lines of "gifts for him, the new trend!" Ha! The store is on the smaller side, but they really pack in the inventory, so it can feel a little cramped at times. There were maybe 5-6 other people milling about the store, and certain aisles were impassible because they were only wide enough for 1 person (and sometimes barely that!). But there was a lot to see, and I could've poked around in there for an hour! read more

Cute little gift shop with a cafe attached to it. Vera Bradley and all sorts of other lovely quality gifts were displayed. Would be a nice place for couples to to on a Sunday outing, browse a bit, let your significant other go grab a table and coffee while you finish up and then do the crossword on the shaker style tables in the cafe. As a guy the only reason that I used to go to this store was to buy the candy that total added up to a dollar. It was always fun trying to get the most money worth while having such a tiny budget. This is the perfect business to be located on Grafton's cute town common. To the right you have a coffee shop with the typical coffees, lattes, mochas, and pastries. I really like their scones. They also sell various local/regional food items such as teas, jellies, jams, salsas, etc.. To the left you have a gift/decorating shop with all kinds of seasonal house decorations, wreaths, dishes, candles, knick knacks, etc. Pretty extensive card section ranging from humorous, to upscale. They also have a "Grafton" section with T-shirts, sweatshirts, coffee cups, etc. A candy section near the door is always popular with kids. Definitely a good place to visit when at the town common, or when you need a gift for your mom. I wish they would open a little earlier in the morning so I could stop and get coffee on my way to work. read more

The Grafton Country Store Cafe has the best yummy treats I've had just about anywhere. The scones are great. The cake was called the best ever by my sister. You can always count on something delicious. It's small - squeezed into a store with all kinds of knick knacks and gifts for sale - but oh so good. When the weather is nice, head out to the square with your goodies. Red barn coffee is decent, better than the same ol' that so many places in the area have. read more

Such a lovey store with a number of gifts items and personal items to choose from. I always find something when I venture in whether it is for myself or a gift. Id like to start off this review by giving a forewarning i primarily come into cones in the common and cones in the common exclusively. As soon as you step in you are greeted by a warm and friendly smile by one of the employees. This is what kicks off the great experience you will have at cones in the common. Personally my favorite thing to get here is the ice cream. It is sweet, creamy and mm mmm so good! My favorite employee is Grace. She is always so positive and attentive, almost like she is just waiting for me to come in and take my order. The atmosphere of the cafe is truly charming! The decorations all around are so unique and make me truly feel at home. I always feel like i can stay for hours. I would whole-heartedly recommend stopping by cone on the common the next time you are in grafton. you won't regret it!!! :) read more

I had seen the article in the paper about new management a while back and I was so excited to finally get around to looking inside. My kids loved the ice cream (I loved it because it was cheaper than swirls & scoops!) and we ate it on the common -- it was a really nice day. I talked with the owner carol who seemed very excited about the new things happening. I was also surprised by the new remodel because I wasn't expecting it when I walked in. My girls have been begging me to go back as they love the penny candy and the ice cream! read more

I went to the Grafton Country gift store today and the owner/manager directed me to the Christmas items that were on sale a few days after Christmas. I selected two serving plates and an ornament. When I went to purchase the items the owner/manager told me that they could not gift wrap the sale items. As the items were breakable and I'm not particualrly cheap, I offered to purchase a box to put them in. The owner/manager stated she could not sell me a box for the items as, while standing in front of a rack full of boxes, that they were running low on them. I looked around and seeing as I was literally the ONLY customer in the store it did not appear that a sudden flood of customers would come in demanding boxes. I was flabbergasted! Here I am, the ONLY customer in the store, ready to make a purchase and even offering buy a box for the breakable items and yet they were so smitten with hoarding boxes for the invisible masses of customers they were sure would come in that they preferred losing an 18 dollar sale (in addition to the cost of a box I was willing to pay)! Not sure what alternate reality business model encourages a business to lose the ONE paying customer they do have in favor of the ZERO other customers in the store over a two dollar gift box but I guess some stores really just don't want your business. So, message received Grafton country Store, I'll take my business to Home Goods or some other like place where I can find similiar items at more affordable prices without the attitude and hassle. It's too bad, I have bought items at the store at full price before and I like supporting local retailers. However, I cannot support a store that treats it's customers in such an absurdly bad manner. Nice job Grafton Country Gift Store, you lost both a sale and a more importantly a customer over a two dollar gift box! read more
