We had a great time zip lining here. Our tour guides Zack and Chuck were great and funny. We where the last tour of the day. The tour felt a little rushed. In the description of the tour it said the 4 zip lines, atvs, and 2 suspension bridges. The att description is a little misleading. The ATVs were to get you from the chair lifts to the first zip line and to take you back to the chair lifts after the last zip line. The tour guides did a great job of telling you about the zip lines. They also allowed you time to take photos of the scenery which was absolutely amazing. We there there during the fall as the leaves were changing. Zac and Chuck our tour guides were a lot of fun and the zip lines where great. But please note they want you there 30 mins early however when taking the chair lift up to the zip lining office takes about 30 mins. So make sure you give yourself extra time. We got there about 40 mins early and made it right at our start time. They did give us a call to see if we were still on our way, we let them know we were still in the stair lift. Definitely recommend this zip line. read more

This was my first time Zip lining thanks to a friends 40th birthday and Groupon. Had it not been for the offer I would have never known about this place. First off let me say that my Groupon had previously expired after two failed attempts due to weather, however our host had made new reservations and was promised that they would honor the Groupon until the end of May. I arrived early with a smaller group and we started to check in and was told that we had to pay the difference of nearly $40 since the Groupon had expired. I informed the employee that our host had made reservations and was told by another employee they they would honor the Groupon until the end of may despite what the Groupon had said. It didn't take long before the owner offered his two cents, and said that he owned the place and contracted the deal with Groupon, and if he had an employee who said they would extend the offer they should be fired, because he never does anything like that. I felt that was fairly unprofessional however the employee helping us out said that they would figure it out after we ziplined, and shortly after the rest of our party arrived we were told it was all take care of. A confusing and frustrating experience. Now to the actual zip line experience, having never been zip lining before I really cant compare this to anything however I was very impressed. The lines were ran through and over the trees situated on the bluffs overlooking the Mississippi river, in fact one line you can actually see the river. Lines ranged from 200ft to over 2000ft with varying speeds, the guides were great and made everyone feel comfortable and safe. I would have rated this higher however my Groupon experience was a little disappointing, I personally feel that the check in situation could had been handled better. But overall the actual Zip Line experience was great! read more

Caught this establishment on a Groupon not too long ago and thought it would be the perfect introduction to the warmer weather the area was going to receive. It was so much fun! I hadn't zipped in years and this was my husband's 2nd time ever and for his birthday I thought it would be a great present. Reservations are required and due to traffic out of our control, we were late for arrival. However they were very understanding and ended up putting us with the next group. While we waited we took a walk on their grounds and got to see the sleeping cabins and Aerie's Winery that is just a few short steps away. Great views to enjoy while you wait. Each group is suited up and you get two guides. The zips start out easy to medium to hard then back to easy to wrap up your day. They make you practice first on a small one and if you don't do what they say, you have to walk the hill of shame back to the start and try it again. Once you pass the test, then the real fun begins. They have a camera crew there on the first big one to capture your favorite moments and the pictures are of great quality. It takes about 2 hours to make it through all the zips then they drive you back up to the starting point. Be sure to wear clothes you aren't afraid are going to rip or get dirty. I wore an older pair of jeans and good thing because they didn't last after that day. They provide you with the gloves and harnesses but you need to bring everything else. If you haven't done zip line, you should definitely try it here! It is a little pricey but I think it's worth it as its a large course and takes 1-2 hours depending on your group size. Plus I don't know that I would really want to go on a cheap zip line. Their harnesses were in great shape, as were their helmets, gloves, etc... My girl friend and I went to Grafton for the weekend for a quick getaway from the city. We wanted to do something besides eat and drink so we scheduled a 5:30 zip on a Saturday evening. It started storming that evening and they called us about 45 min prior to our reservation time to let us know we wouldn't be able to go. Thankfully they fit us in the next day around 12:30. We arrived a little after 12 (you should be there 30 min prior to pay and get your gear) and got suited up to go. They took a picture off the deck before we left and then we were off! There were about 8 different lines with one being 2000' feet long and 250' in the air. It allowed you to look over the river and it was really pretty. Not to mention fast (as they just restrung it this season) and exhilarating! Lucas and Sydney were our guides and they were so friendly (and funny) and I felt super safe in their hands. They explained everything well and made it really fun! Make sure to tip your guides! They definitely deserve it. At the end you'll get an option to purchase a CD with all your pictures and also receive a printed picture for $24. If you're with another person or group it ends up being quite the deal if you all split it. read more

We had a lot of fun. Zip lines could have been a little faster but still a decent run. Beautiful views from top of the bluffs overlooking river. Guides were really good at keeping you entertained and genuinely seemed interested in you. Can't remember the guys name but Liz was the girl. Only thing keeping us from giving it 5 stars was it did seem a little pricey. $79 each. Not horrible but it would keep us from bringing our kids to this one. We also paid the $20 for pictures on CD. Again, a little pricey. I can buy DVDs on eBay from Japan for 30 cents each and print labels directly on them at home. They could charge $10 and still make 1000% profit on them. Summed up - fun time, great guides, felt safe but left with a lighter wallet than what I had hoped. read more

My daughter wanted a special birthday after covid killed our plans last year. Well she got her wish. Seven of the immediate family hit the zip lines and finished the day riding the ski life to the restaurant for a scenic dinner. Zak and Dek were great guides on the zip lines, staying professional while playfully reassuring the family chickens how safe they were. It is November 1, 2012 and Grafton Zipline is NOT closed. We had two wonderful hours of gliding through the treetops this afternoon. It was exhilarating and relaxing at the same time. Afterward we went to dinner at the lodge at Pere Marquette, but there are several wineries and restaurants to choose from right in Grafton. Reservations are necessary. The zip line was exhilarating. The two- person staff who took a 12 year old and a 60 something year old through the lines were personable and knowledgeable. The college students checked us out at the office where you park and pay. They did not introduce themselves right away which I found disappointing in the customer service area. What an awesome experience we had today (10/4/2020). Satisfied a bucket list item. Family joined me as part of my 65th birthday celebration. 2 seventy year olds, me at 65 and 3 millenials. Everyone had a great time. 7 ziplines, 2 great guides with Jack and Johnnie (and patient) and well maintained equipment. I only two in our group had ever ziplined and everyone did fine. I researched zipline companies before picking Grafton. I did not want one with rope courses and obstacles snd climbing to the platforms. Grafton gave plenty of variety and challenge to everyone in our group to make it a satisfying experience. Important to note: my sister has ziplined before The braking system used here is a good one. You do not have to wear gloves snd reach up to slow yourself down. My sister assured me that's a big deal. I could not be happier with our first timer experience- looking forward to returning and doing it again! read more

A group of us went ziplining this past weekend to celebrate my birthday. It was a GREAT experience! From the moment we walked in the door the staff was very friendly. They had accidently informed us, when making our reservation, that we could have the weekly discount. We booked for a weekend zip and they had no problem admitting their mistake, and still honoring their word and giving us the discount. That says a lot about a place. We would have had a lot of disappointed friends had they went back on their word. Thankfully, that wasn't even an issue. Our guides on the tour were Katie and Abe. They did a great job! I felt safe and like they were in complete control and alert to everything that was going on for the entire tour. I was shocked when they said they had not been doing it for very long because you couldn't tell at all by the experience and their knowledge. if you are contemplating ziplining, all i can say is DO IT! I am afraid of heights and didn't even think about it one time bc I felt so safe and was having such a good time! We will definitely be back! Thank you! read more

Spent a great Fathers Day here. Having never zip lined before I wasn't quite sure what to expect. Brady and Alex were our guides, they made sure we were safe and had an awesome time. What a GREAT experience! This was our first experience but we had seen it on T.V. It was so much fun! The guides thoroughly explain the stopping mechanism which allows you to control your rate of descent. ( My greatest concern.) Plus the first zip allows you to practice with the braking system and your hand position. The professional guides are there to give guidance and ensure proper technique for your personal safety. The guides stated their oldest zipper was 98. Wow! Isn't that great? That is Living Life! One more thing, don't forget bug spray. They don't sell it, but maybe they should. read more

Second time ziplining, and won't do this one again. Goes by way too quickly for the price (less than an hour surely). Guides were great, but the course just isn't. Not even pretty, really. Would recommend other area ziplines/ropes courses over this one every time. That being said, the grafton area was a cool way to spend the day.
