Brought my bike in for a repair, they said they'd get back to me with an estimate. 3 days pass so I call them to get an update. Says they need to order a part and will get back to me. 2 days pass, no update. So I pick my bike up because I'm leaving town. Also interested in purchasing a bike. Their website says they have certain models in stock. When I visited the store they didn't - just more expensive bikes. Visited Grail Cycle and Skate based on a recommendation from a local. The vibe there was completely different. The owner was knowledgeable, helpful, and it was obvious he loved to bike. I bought a bike from them. Altitude Cycle = waste of space. You'd get the same experience at a Wal-Mart.

Service so bad you'll think it's malicious…read more Much like the other one-star reviewer's experience, we were also treated like Altitude Cycle must make so much money they can afford to let thousands of dollars walk out the door. My wife and I wanted to purchase two mountain bikes, along with a full compliment of accessories, and were going to have our bikes serviced there indefinitely. We also planned to have our road bikes serviced there, and to buy a handful of family bikes when the need would arise. All told, had the employees and manager cared to figure out what our long-term business relationship would bring they would've realized we were prepared to spend around $10k. Long story short, we were jerked around by staff reference ordering one of the bikes. Over the course of a month they "took down our information" a couple of times, stated outright they ordered one of the bikes they didn't have on hand, never called us back, and when we finally went into the store they lied straight to our faces when they started throwing each other and the new owner under the bus. We spent a month of this outdoor season waiting for this bike to get in, when they never had any intention of ordering it. One of their lies is that they claimed there was a "misunderstanding" and they "never took our information down.". But they in fact took our information down the first time in store, the second time over the phone, declined to bring up the lack of contact information when we went into the store two weeks ago, and this final time in store, they claimed ignorance altogether. This problem of them losing our contact information only came up a month later, meanwhile we've been strung along believing the bike was on order, which the employees told us was the case over the phone and in person. In conclusion, their sheer disregard, indifference, and lies made our experience with Altitude Cycle feel malicious. What other possible explanation is there?

I bought a Honda generator took it and a quart of oil to check out. The cashier said We can't let…read moreyou take the generator until we put gas and oil in and start it up. Said it was Honda policy. So I wait 20 minutes thinking they would fill it with oil an put a little gas in and make sure it would start. Thinking I told the cashier if you are filling it with oil I don't need to buy any. They bring the generator back . I load it in and go camping. We are a ways out of town and it's cold so I go to start the generator. I top it off with gas and the generator won't start. So I check the oil and Sportsman didn't put enough oil in for it to start. Now it's dark and we are a long way from any place to get oil. I was so mad that they had lied to me and made me wait in thier store while they pretended to do something that they didn't do. I would not recommend anybody to shop at Sportsman's Warehouse.

I have purchased 9 Harleys in the last 8 years, 2 of which from Beers. I had worked with Randy for weeks on the purchase of a new 2024 Street Glide, (whiskey fire with chrome), that had been listed most of the year on the Beers website. A price was agreed upon, and financing was done. At Randy's request, we attempted to complete the deal before the end of the year. My wife and I drove 6 houirs on New Years Eve through snow and ice only to find that the bike listed was not in fact in stock. The Street Glide on the showroom floor was with black finish, not the chrome package listed for months on the website. The staff acknowledged the mistake, but made no attempt to make it right, or even contact Randy. After my wife and I left, the staff changed the information on the website to show the correct information, (street glide with black finish). Someone claiming to be Randy Beers texted me to say that I "was losing it", implying that I was wrong about the chrome package. This person or persons, attempted to insult me, repeatedly swore at me, told me not to "step foot in my business", threatened me, and invited me to "come on down". Yes, I have all of the text messages that I will be forwarding to HDMC. I previously had a terrible experience with the service departement where the "mechanic" screwed up the electrical system on my Road King while working on the suspension. Despite this, I have contniued to try and support a small business, especially one that Harley is looking to pull the licence from. Now, it's clear why; The staff at Beers Harley Davidson is completley enept and not qualified to sell a stick of gum, let alone a $25,000 motorcylce. I have repeatedly emailed Randy Beer's and have heard nothing in responce! Do yourself a favor, go to the large corporate dealership instead. There is a reason that this plpace is dying.
