She went to a few big box stores and told me she felt like they were forcing products on her and revealed "additional" cost late in the conversation - This made her uncomfortable. I even went to a few stores with her and she had a hard time feeling comfortable with such a big purchase. After the big box stores she went to Advantage. She felt comfortable. She told me she felt like the staff was more transparent, upfront, but also spoke about the products in a way that she understood. They delivered the washing machine a few days later. During the delivery one of the crew saw that she had an old metal bench and picnic table piled up in the backyard, clearly no longer serviceable. He asked her what she was doing with them. She explained that she had been looking for a way to dispose of them for a while but they were too large for the weekly garbage pick-up. He then kindly took care of it for her (I assume he scrapped it) making her life a lot easier by helping her strike a to-do item off her list. I really appreciate the kind and professional service they gave my grandmother. It's impossible for me to be around helping her all the time so it's nice to know there are good and honest businesses out there giving her quality service.
