They have a normal menu and a daily specials board. I ordered the Bärlauch Rissotto with fish for my main and it was very nice. We also had a nice bottle of Italian wine. The ingredients were fresh and well cooked. The flavours were intense and did not need anything else added to it. The ambience is quite nice and its not very noisy either. The interior is well done and all the tables had nice white tablecloths on them and so on. Whilst it looks like an upmarket place, the prices are not. I would happily come back here again for a meal. It is very comfortable, intimate, and filled with tons of friendly locals. The ladies and gentlemen who work here smiled lots and went out of their way to answer my questions about Heidelberg and the neighboring towns. They also replenished my latte many times as I entertained them with American humor, politics. With the cafe's desirable location on an old cobblestone street, the delectable drinks, sandwiches and sweets lure people walking by to lay down their roots and enjoy the cafe's treasures. Heidelberg is a romantic picturesque college town. I look forward to visiting again and spending many more afternoons at Casa del Caffe.
