I've been wearing contacts for over 35 years so I'm very familiar with the process. As a result of the unthorough exam, the prescription given was incorrect. Since I had plenty of contacts remaining from my previous prescription, I didnt start wearing the new ones until late May. I called the office to let them know and request to exchange the unopened box for my correct prescription but was told they wouldn't and only offered to come in and pay for another exam and also pay for more contacts. Why would I do that if they couldn't get it right the first time? So onto finding a new dr in the area.

He proceeded to defend the error and was borderline argumentative and was rude. He's lucky I maintained my demeanor. When I had to go back a couple of months later because the arm came off he got snippy when I told him I wasn't paying for the additional frames as they were covered under my plan. I was told it wasn't a good place to go and I won't go back there.

The Office staff is professional and courteous the CPO was also amazing and Dr. Stout was professional, personable and kind. I can't say enough kind things she was awesome.. The entire building is spotlessly clean well laid out and very comfortable. There's a huge selection of glasses and it looks to me like they make them on site . what I really love is this is a family run business and NOT a huge corporate conglomerate who could care less about you as a patient or customer but just in your pocketbook. Not only did I inform the "doctor" that I didn't need reading glasses and no bifocals, I informed him that I needed them for driving, period. I told this quack at least three times and the woman who ordered my glasses that I needed glasses to drive. Two weeks later, they are ready and the glasses were for reading and made my sight blurry so they had to send them away to correct. The ladies in this office need a motivation class because every one of them acts like they don't want to be there. I suggest you go to a real vision doctor, have a real exam done and order some glasses in which you know the real cost. Never going back as my vision is too important to let these clowns handle it.

I'm not sure how this place is still in business but compared to Cheyne, Dr. Watts, and everywhere else in Granbury this place is a joke. You get what you pay for!

My 83 year old mother has macular degeneration and since seeing Dr. Crawford she has had her cornea scratched and has never been able to see the doctor at her appointment time in less than 2 hours. She has low vision and is somewhat fragile yet the nurses do not take the time to help her in and out of her exam chair. If you want personalized and compassionate treatment, this is not the place for you're self or a loved one.
