We were not at their party, went to different location to view the eclipse. She claims that everyone raises their rate because of this event. I hope she tells me the truth, I will be ok with it. Again, the place was rather nice, just that misunderstand can happen. I was not able to edit my recent review due to site restriction. I am starting to see why they (Campground owners in Nor'Easter) don't open their campgrounds for the season until in the May.

There is a walking path across the street which our dogs really need after traveling, but the path is also good for biking as well. We stay here as a cheaper alternative to staying in Burlington. Many small lakes throughout, some with fountains; which I'm guessing keeps that water circulating to keep it fresher, and also not attract mosquitoes ;) A lifeguard is on duty during the day, there are some community activities posted, there is a cute little game room/store across from the beach; which looks enjoyable to sit at, out on the patio. Every bit of room has been used for RV spaces, so it's fairly tight, but very doable, as far as driving around with a big rig in there, ours is 35 feet. Many of the sites in here have been highly decorated, and are over the top with landscaping, and additions to their sites, gnomes, lighting, decks, fencing, shutters, statues, outdoor fireplaces, gazebos, you name it, they've done it ;) French is the main language spoken in this park, and this includes the park owners, good time for some practice with your French ;) $45 was our rate for 2 services (Water & Elec), in July.

I want to start off this review by saying how very thankful and impressed I was by the staff at…read morethis KOA. Extremely kind, accommodating and hard working. Every morning we'd wake up to them doing their rounds and maintaining the sites. They were all very kind to us and our dog. Overall the KOA is impressive. Lovely tent camping sites, a beautiful well maintained field for kids to play and clean facilities all around. When it comes to our site, we were disappointed. We were in site 18 which when parking to give ourselves a place to hangout next to the fire pit put us basically right on top of our neighbor. (Check out the pictures - the only view we had from our window was their camper) Our hangout spot near the fire pit was right next to our other neighbors so it basically felt like we were all hanging out together. The worst part for us was the highway right through the trees is highly trafficked at all hours of the day and night. Yes we heard tractor trailers at 3 am. It was so loud from traffic at times we couldn't hear each other speaking. This area of the KOA made us feel like we were at a rest stop on the side of the highway instead of in the beautiful wilderness camping. We would certainly return but without a doubt would need to upgrade to the much more beautiful spacious sites in the back. If you plan to camp in an RV spot we recommend you do the same!
