I've been a member here for yearssss and it's always been the best. However in the last year, it's almost as if the club has accepted too many members beyond their capacity. Today, the beach was full. No more chairs no more umbrellas. For such an expensive membership, it seems crazy. They mentioned they're ordering more chairs and umbrellas so I hope to see that in the near future. One thing about this place: the servers, waiters, beach staff and bartenders are spectacular and never fail with amazing service and will always accommodate. 10/10 for these amazing people. Now to the food, I ordered burrata ($22) and it is supposed to come with arugula - I think I got 2 little pieces. Don't get me wrong. Yummy. But whenever I go it feels like they're rationing food. Got tuna tartar last time and after a 1.5 hour wait (no problem I know they're busy) I got the smallest little portion. Menus in the past have been better so I do wish they had more options. Lastly, a few weeks ago they issued these letters stating kids of members (23+) must start paying their own membership. Not sure how this is gonna go. Many people in the key Biscayne area are dependents of their parents and for them to deny kids of members when they've been members for years and their parents pay an insane amount for the club seems crazy. I think it needs to be addressed. Pretty club with restaurant, pool with slide and bar near the beach. The inside is decorated with black and white photos of Nixon and others. Our friend is a member and brought my son and me there. My son had fun swimming in the ocean and using the slide and pool. They also have a kiddie pool and playground as well as a jacuzzi. The bar sold really delicious gelato - chocolate, cherry vanilla, pistachio and strawberry etc. but it was pricey at $7 a serving. There are plenty of beach chairs near the pool and on the beach. read more

My honey and I have a membership here that was given to us when we purchased our apartment at Icon Brickell. This place is so great! private, serene beach, clean pool, full bar and restaurant, and the service is amazing. You walk in and are literally jumped and asked where you want to be set up. Chairs, umbrellas, and towels quickly follow. Management is amazing. Carmen does an excellent job with her staff. We have spent 4th of July there and the buffet together with the fireworks display is phenomenal. We take the whole family and many of our friends. Love, love, love this place! read more

We attended an engagement party here last night. The clubhouse is perfect for such a party or small wedding. The pool area is very spacious and the view of the ocean is beautiful. And the staff was very attentive. Dinner was served outside on the deck, buffet style. The spinach ravilo in alfredo sauce the chef prepared for me was excellent. This place made my dream wedding come true. If I can give it 10 stars I would! The staff was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. My mom and I must have gone there almost every weekend for two months. There were no signs of being annoyed and the staff was very welcoming each time. This must be the best beach wedding venue in Miami. My husband and I had a beautiful beach ceremony and the reception was done in their beautiful (unique looking) club house (almost like a ballroom). They truly made us feel like a king and queen. I felt truly pampered. I will definitely recommend this place for any occasion you will never regret it. Carmen, General Manager at the Grand Bay Club, Chef Carlos, and staff are the best thing that could've happened to our wedding. The venue, the service, the food, the bar, and the last minute accommodations due to weather were ABSOLUTELY flawless! Everyone complimented the dinner and the overall service. The bar was energetic and the staff was friendly and always smiling. When the weather appeared to be different than we expected, Carmen quickly switched things around but managed to keep everything so effortless and beautiful. Everything they do is done with serious amounts of care that translate perfectly into such a special occasion. We really felt the love. Forever grateful and for that reason highly recommended. First time attending this cool private club. They have a great pool area with cabanas, place for massage, a bar area, large pool, along with a espectacular view of the ocean. Did not try the food I was there just doing a walk through but it is really a great venue for private parties, weddings etc. The inside is very nice and all the tables and furniture can be moved to accommodate any situation. read more

There are few times I will go out of my way to write a bad review but here goes. Was here for a wedding this past weekend. Staff is completely unprofessional. Wedding planner/general manager yelled at guests and would not allow them to use the indoor bathroom until the ballroom was set. I then proceeded to explain that all the out door bathrooms (disgusting btw) were locked and smelled and that i needed to go urgently. She proceeded to tell me that i was unbelievable and then gave me a dirty look. The valet huffed and puffed when i said a needed a moment in my car to gather my belongings . The serving staff had no idea what they were serving and were completely lost when it came to anything in regards to the food. All in all the place is a dump. Entire staff does not know how to handle working under pressure beginning with their manager Carmen and ending with their rude valet attendant that does not speak English. We were involved with an event held there recently and upon entering it seemed like the staff was trying to clear the area to set the tables. I was approached by the manager with a nasty attitude being told to leave the area and after explaining to her my reason for being there she responded sarcastically. They were trying to heard all guest outside and locking the doors. I witnessed one of the elderly guest hurt themselves trying to open the door, seeing that I tried to help this individual by opening another door, while doing so I was approached rudely again by the same manager asking why and how I had opened the door. Instead of assisting she was giving rude looks and ranting like a child. Other guests where trying to head back in to use the bathrooms and ran into the same situation. I believe this could have all been solved by having an employee of the grand bay club stationed at the doors and assisting the guests properly. I personally have been involved in numerous venues and have never seen this sort of treatment toward guest. In my opinion there is no excuse for any form of desrispect towards your clients, keep your personal issues at home and when you attempt to do your job represent your employer properly especially if your position involves leadership skills..... (set a positive example!) I would not recommend this location for any venue. read more
